So awesome to hear your birth stories - just got off skype with my friend overseas and she's just as inspiring as you all

Just got back from my doc - 40 weeks tomorrow - and there's nothing happening. We've agree that if nothing by Sunday night/Monday morning, I'll get induced. I can't say it took any convincing - especially because he didn't make me feel cornered or pressured. He's happy that I have a few days over 40 weeks and then we'll make it happen. After chatting with my doc, I feel confident that I've made the right decision. I'll still be holding thumbs that something happens naturally between now and Sunday night.

Congrats Mommy21 and pinky! You guys must be so excited to finally be holding your precious little bundles!

Thanks for posting your birth stories! I loved reading them! Hopefully I'll be posting mine soon after my little girl finally decides to break out of her cosy little home

Hello Ladies...

Just to update you all... seeing as we've all been waiting for the next big story I've just got back from my doc app - 2cm dilated. He feels that i'll be back later tonight - and if not I am meeting him in the labour ward tomorrow morning at 0800 to have my membranes ruptured. So tomorrow for the latest we will be proud parents to either Slade or Tayla... still no idea what it is...

I'll be posting pics and birth story asap!!!

I hope the mommies who already gave birth and shared their stories doesn't mind that I copied it to the birth stories thread in the pregancy and birth category. I know how hectic life is with a newborn so I really don't expect you to have to type it again.
