Chan wish i could help but im bf and i think i've giving Vanya my upset tummy she sitting here screaming at me every now and then poor baby.

Yvette shame get some sleep sweetheart. Are you still bleeding? After how many weeks do we stop? I cant remember.

chan - i;ve had 3 friends who changed from S26 because of cramps and especially constipation. also laxette and all those laxatives cause cramps. have youtried movicol? its a powder that you put in the milk. that works well. i loved lactogen and NanHA. lactogen is filling and gentle on their tums. maybe consider trying it? is he not drinking too much because that can also cause cramps. shoo chick, thats all i can suggest now. emily is fine - but thats the perks of breastmilk - it doesn;t cause all those things. i;ve used bennets twice only and 1ml at a time. bennets is fab. if kade's cramps do not go, you should ask for your paed for a prescription anti-spasmodic. there is one which was fab, but i've forgotten the name. will sms you as soon as i remember.
i feel you on the tiredness thing. i;m knackered. my eyes are burning and emily is now wide awake, and she can stay that way for the next 2 hours. hopefully not.

Hi girls! Sorry for being missing in action!

God I need help / advice! We're having the most awful nights ever. We have no night time routine at all and no matter what I try Kade just won't settle at night at all. I'm basically getting sleep from around 11:30 - 1:30am and that's it! We're absolutely exhausted.

If Kade eats at 10pm i'll get him back to sleep around 11:30pm and then he's awake at 1am to eat again so it means an hour and a half of sleep and from there it goes haywire. He'll eat again at 4am but inbetween he doesn't settle at all. He moans and moves around and cries all the time. He gets Bennets with all night feeds - the paed said we should do that but it doesn't seem to help settle him at all.

As soon as I think he's fast asleep and lie him in his crib he's awake!

Kade is drinking 150ml of S26 per feed now and feeding every 3 hours. He weighed 4.9kg's last Friday when we went to the paed.
We've managed to fix his constipation with the S26 now and he has normal runny poos like he's supposed to.

I can't believe I've had 5 weeks of no sleep at night! It's starting to catch up though I've got huge dark rings under my eyes.

Hopefully someone will be able to give me some advice!!

Chris - shjoe, I can only imagine how busy you guys are, its good that you have a nurse to help out. It kind of eases you into the flow of things. You'll get into a routine and then I am sure it will go easier! Cant wait to see pics of the A-team! Take care. How are YOU feeling?

How are you all doing? How is your little ones? Congrats to all those that gave birth. To all that is waiting, hang in there, not long to go. Sorry i have not been online. Things have been abit hectic with my toddler and dealing with my newborn. Thashreya is so jealous of Shrevash. i try to give her more attention but it tires me out.

Shrevash has also gotten abit spoilt and wants to be in my arms all the time. He had a terrible rash on his face and head, i took him to the doctor and it turned out to be exzema, so i have to bath him with Epizone E ointment and run a special mixed cream on him. It has helped and now the rash is almost all gone.

He has picked up weight nicely. The last weight he was measured at was 3.3 kg, so he picked up 700g since he was discharged from the hospital. I will update my birth story when i get a chance too, hopefully soon.

Anyone meeting in pretoria in the next few weeks, i would love to meet you and your little ones?

Binks, funny how dh's always comment on the breasts, but lol for saying he is going to put V on a diet! She must love mom's milk!!

Maryke, why dont you try Pals in Alberton/Brackendowns for their injections, its government place but very nice and so helpful, most of my famiy goes there/uses them for help and queries, I can give you the number, must just get it from my sister. How old are the boys? The nurse who did their first vaccinations said to us to do their injectins at 3kg's and ignore the 6weeks thing, I'm assuming its the same as you saying 8w?

I love, love the baby stage, but not with 3, if it were 1 it would be alot more enjoyable cos all you doing now is feeding, changing nappies and the cycle goes, its funny to see these little personalities already, Athena is soooo calm, she just sleeps, Alexia is a real drama queen, whoa, Alessandro also likes to let you know he is around now and then.

Our babies are drinking 80ml's? They dont complain about being over fed but Alessandro complains with cramps sometimes. we assuming its sufficient, but we dont force the last few ml's.

Just read your post re the milk and amounts, we also mix one big bottle then divide into the bottles, much easier. I never reaslised about having some milk left over in the bottle, makes sense, sometimes they will finish the bottle completely, more times not tho, I think its just cos there is still too much left over that we have to get them to finish it then they get used to the sucking again and finish the whole thing.

Its hard feeding prem babies, well, its just work, not hard, really time consuming (for now) as it can take up to an hour almost to feed 1 baby, at the moment there is always 3 of us who feed them simultaneaously, so its fine, but its not going to be 3 of us for long, just another week really, so I need to start practicing a prop feeding postion for 2 babies, Vix, Maryke, what do you d? Or do you feed them oone after the other? Our babies are on EBM and NAN, sometimes burping them can be a pain in the butt!

Asp, are you still at dh's work, take it easy!

Meags, cant believe your time for moving is so near!

Mina, so glad Bernice is an angel! Sorry about the burping tho. I find my lb also gets cramps, but not sure if its cos his tummy needs to work, well, I think its cos of that.

Ster, glad all is going well on the new formula. The nurses told us to wrap baby up with blanket to take hiccups away, it seems to work most times.

MommyN, glad Nathan is doing well!

AFM- decided to that next week will be my last week at work. The driving is getting too much for me, I drive 50kms one way to get to work, so just over a 100kms to and from work a day! there is about and inch left between the stearing whell and my belly. Seeing the Gynae on Thurs, don't think lg has turned so looks it will be a CS on 11Feb.
