I have tp laugh, little Vanya always gets milk in her face she sucks breast so nice it builds up a flow of its own then she pulls her mouth away and gets milk everywhere, hubby says my breasts are so big he will have to put V on a diet when she finished

Mina read your birth story wow what a relax birth you had and so quick congrats again

Vix I make 125 ml lactogen and they only drink lik 110ml at a time sometimes they finish the bottle other times they leave like 50ml but I don't give them the left overs I leave it and then they feed again after about 3 hrs.

We had to give Aiden a bit of stopayne on friday night he was so upset the whole day craying and moaning after that he was so peacefull the whole weekend even this morning so what ever pain he had is gone now hopefully

Chris hope everthing is getting better enjoy the nurses for the help and do rest for a speedy recovery so that you can enjoy your bubs


MommyN as far as I can remeber the growth spurts are 3w 6w 9w and then I can't remember from there.
We also doing the 8w jab and it's going to cost a pretty penny I think it's R1560 times two for me and there after I am doing the gov stock well hubby wants to do it that way...
I take about half hour with both boys drink burp sleep....so that's not to bad

I also don't like this baby stage a whole lot can't wait until the rewarding months start of smiling and googeling and crawling and walking....

I'm so far behind no after i lost my post last night.

Vix DH and me are seeing Gynae for last time on Tuesday and then we will discuss the clamp things - we were thingking of asking dr if we could do it during c-sec, cause don't wan't a second operation really. Booking the hospital as well Tuesday - can't wait. The 2nd is around the corner now.
Just found out that another friend of mine is preggies, i've got such a long list of friends that's pregnant - wich is not even moomie moms.

Ster - 4hour feedings WOW! My LO was every 3hours - well in the begining it was between 2-3hours.

Chris so glad you are back home with the trio's and DH - was thinking of you alot.

AFM - my feet are not keeping up.
Busy day at work tomorrow - both bosses back at work ( i have to stand in for their secretary - taking them their tea and coffee in their office and out - not making it though) but ya the walking kills me back and forth from my office to theirs. Secretary only back Wed. My last week at work.

Shjoe i have to go to bed, but still need to go and cut LO's nails quick while he sleeps - only time when i can do that.

i so hope i will get time for moomie when new baba is here, would try my best - struggling even now allready to keep up.

Sorry there are too many posts for me to catch up on.

Hospital was VERY hard, I would rather do the pregnancy over and over and over again before I do these last recovery weeks, it has been really tough!

Well, last night I manahaed 2 hours sleep sort of, lol, these babies are like clock work, every 3 hours and I haven't managed to latch them on the boob properly, Alexia did a little the best... ouch!

The nice thing is that our medical aid is paying for a night and a day nurse for us for these 2 weeks while I recover properly, and they got us an angel monitor. The day nurse is absolutely lovely, she has so much patience and helps where she can and tells me to go rest. But havign trips is really hard for just 2. DH didn't sleep anything the first night they came home, he kept checking the breathing and temps and all, shame, I really was so upset we culdn't do it together.

Anyway, sorrrry abput selfish post.

Hope everyones babies are doing well and the other still preggy fairies are doing well!!

Yvette, I think we are in the same boat about not feeling great! Vix, I havent tried your iron tablets yet - just havent been to the pharmacy yet and I still have 2 months supply of mine! I have started taking a double dose, lets see what happens!

Mina, I am so happy to hear you had a good birthing experience! I also had a lovely experience with my LG and it makes things so much easier!

I am starting to think the older babies are easier to handle! First time round I loved the newborn stage, but this time its tough! Even though my LG is really trying at the moment, we are communicating so well and just having so much fun! I am so lucky to be with her everyday!

I am so excited for you, Chris! Cant wait to hear how it is going! But am sure you are busy busy busy and you must also rest!

Regarding telament, in hospital the Sisters told me I can just squirt some telemant into Nathan's mouth - about the size of my pinkie nail - the bottle says not to give straight - I am so confused. I dont give every feed, but I am worried about colic because Missy had it slightly (I think).

Today was a bit hectic - Nathan wanted to feed every 2 hours and sometimes straight after I put him down!

What are the growth spurts? And how do you go about it with prem babies? I was told you wait until their full gestation period and then start counting, but that cant be real. I am not worried about weight and milestones, I dont like to compare and push, but was just wondering!

Last nights feeds went much better - after each feed (2), Nathan went down again, so the one took about 45 mins and the other less than half an hour! So much better than an hour to 2 hours! Today he has been up so much I am not sure what to expect tonight! Of course, the one day we could lie in (kind of) and Missy wakes up at 5am!!!

Ok, so no rain our side today??? I thought they were warning about floods and severe rain? Probably hit us tomorrow!
