Hi all,

Seems like most of us are having those leg cramps, think we're talking about the same cramps. Feels like a muscle pulling while i want to strech myself...very EINA! I've read somewhere that you should rub your leg, and when it happend a few nights ago i asked DH to rub my leg and it helped instantly. Yvette i've tried those pointing toes, but it feels like it wants to get worse.

My dr's app have moved to 12:30 tomorrow, can't wait. Want to ask my Gynae if we can set a C-sec date as well. Can't wait for that day to come.
Some of you girls (Vix, Maryke & Chris) dates are getting close, and Chan yours as well. I still have about 13weeks left. Can't believe how times flies.

Asp - congrats on your LO walking- so cute!!!

Vix nice belly pics!!! Looking good!

How are you Chris? And everyone else?

I'm so tired, will update you on my Gynae app tommorow night again. Sweet dreams everyone!

Take Care

asp - those leg cramps are NO JOKE! they are truly painful. TIP - if you are in bed lying down, DO NOT POINT YOUR TOES TO TRY STRETCH! slowly point your toes to the ceiling and towards your face and hold them there until that cramp has eased. if you do point your toes downwards, your calf muscle will cramp up into a rock hard excrutiating cramp. i wake in the night feeling a cramp coming on, so immediately point my toes upwards towards me.

congrats on LO walking!now you'll have your hands full!!! :)

vix - your belly is tiny. you are so lucky. i am prob about your size! but mind you, my abs are not what they used to be! i hope the rib pain has eased???

carmen - exciting about the furniture - can;t wait till you have them in the room. take lots of pics please!

maryke - i am glad i am not in your shoes my friend - with decisions like that about helpers. do you have you mom or sister closeby so that can come help you in the day? maybe they can alternate days?

hi ladies, me again!

maryke, a night nanny is R250 per night for twins - so you could always just get someone 3 times per week just so you can get a bit of rest?
That works out to R3000 per month (still pricey) but ya...just thought I'd give a suggestion!!

hi everyone!

Sounds like the aches and pains are catching up with everyone. I must say, heartburn and cramps havent been as bad this time round, but when I do get a cramp, its eina times 10! I am terrible with my vitamins, keep forgetting to take them!

I am feeling really low at the moment. I suppose its hormones and that time of the year. So much still to do and just no energy. Will have to have a serious "self chat" to myself and pull myself together. See gynae on thursday and will see if I discuss it with him. No good being down.

Submitted my tax returns and discovered I dont get anything back this year, being a SAHM. Its terrible, bec I still have policies, and everything that I contribute to. I always used to get "something" back and it was nice to pay off some of the credit card! LOL. Am seriously considering giving DH my card so that there is just NO spending for me! :woohoo:

Vix, Maryke and Chris, hope the getting ready is going well for you guys. And everyone else who is shopping, building and arranging, have fun! I must just unpack the newborn things sometime.

Chris, are you at home now?

Vix - gorgeous pics!

Chan - wow, you are almost ready!

Asp - congrats on LO's first steps. I found the first birthday very emotional, especially being pregnant. But it is exciting!

Did anyone see the sun this morning? Weird!

Take care!

Vix - wow look at that belly! You'r carrying well, I'm always amazed at how the body adapts.

Chan - glad Kade's cupboards are sorted out. I also suffer from swollen feet and ankles- I now have the bottle of gaviscon next to my bed and one on my desk - luckily I don't need it at stranges hours during the night but I think that will come in due course.

Maryke - night helpers are pricey. Sure it will work out with your day helper helping at night.

No weight estimations this week, Dr really struggled to get head and femur measurements as it is because the babies were laying really funny. But i gained 3kg and trust me i honestly can't feel a single cm on my own body so i can only think they have been gaining the 500g per week that they say a singleton gains at this stage between 28 and 32w.

Thanks for all the lovely comments, I seem to be carrying the twins in the same way as i did C, very high and compact which looks nice but feels like a b1tch! LOL

Maryke- i agree with Chan, if you can afford some help then g for it, why risk being so exhausted if you don't need to! Oh and i love your attitude to the grandparents, so sweet!

Chan- yay for having the cupboards in!!!! i need to arrange the babies room and think about washing clothes soon i suppose.

Asp- i was quite emotional in C's first year as he hit all the milestones but i must say after they turn 1 it gets easier on the emotion side i promise. Now i just look at him being 2 and can't believe the time has gone by so fast.

Morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Vix stunning belly pics!! You're carrying so nicely! I can understand how nervous you and Maryke are feeling right now - I'm nervous as hell and I might have 5-6 weeks left if baby comes early!

Vix i'm go glad tweenie 2 has caught up in weight. Must be a huge relief for you! Any idea what the babies weighed at your scan?

Maryke if you need help and can afford it I say go for it.

Asp wow on your LG taking first steps! Pretty awesome! I'm also suffering so badly with leg cramps. It's awful! And swollen feet - argh it's the worst!

Carmen i'm with you on the reflux! Gosh it sucks. And i'm getting woken up every night with it now and having to drink Gaviscon at all weird hours during the night!

AFM no news really. Kades cupboard was installed on Friday so all his cloths and toys and linen is now packed away! DH is doing the curtain rail and tie backs and pictures tonight and then we're finished!!! Our 32 week scan next week! Can't wait to see how much weight Kade has gained!
