Ah TaNasha - I would have been freaking out, well done mom!!! FX this next week goes super fast and everything comes back 100%. I can only imagine what thoughts you must be having - just know she is going to be an extra beautiful and special little baby

TaNasha, *hugs*. Hoping there will be no other issues when you get your results on Thursday. As it was confirmed that there is (at least) a cleft lip, find out who will be able to give you guidance with the feeding and arrange to see them shortly after birth (gynae will be able to give you the info or arrange it for you, I'm sure). As far as I know, they make a sort of a dental thingy that closes a cleft palate (if it should be present) which helps with feeding. But the info I got is very positive about breastfeeding. The lip will be fixed quite soon, so that will also help. I got this info that might help to prepare you for the feeding:

Ah MsDee you managed to help Thamu, I was just going to do that!!
I don't think that BF understands how painful giving birth is. He said he helped a local woman when he was in Namibia on the border, and he was flying somewhere and she was given a lift to the hospital but she never made it! But he still thinks the baby just pops out... His ex-wife had a csec and he said he nearly passed out and then nearly passed out again when he cut the cord. My brave man...

Esmari, Everyone is telling me the same thing! No one can believes i'm over 30 weeks, but some rude woman said all the weight seems to be going to my bum! Glad your DH put her in her place!

Solo, i was explaining the whole birthing thing to hubby last night & he begged me to go the c-section route, cause he thinks it's just too much torture and he says he doesn't know if he'll be able to stand seeing me go through that. I also think i'll be one of those who try to run from the pain. But scared as i am, i still want to give it a shot.

Thamu, how are you feeling today? If you haven't suceeded uploading your ticker by this afternoon, i'll check for you. Just can't remember the steps off by heart but it's very easy.

Finally gave some to hubby last night since my sister was admitted to hospital, which was over a month ago! And what do you know, i finally slept! But now that i got a bit of sleep, all that fatigue has come back, i couldn't wake up this morning and i'm about to get my second cup of coffee! Shame, hubby's so excited he's found a way to make me sleep, though i suspect that's not the only thing making him smile
