Solo, I'll rather take the few hours of pain (and maybe drugs) of a normal delivery than all the pain and discomfort of a Csec afterwards. ....but who knows what'll happen.

Oh my goodness, now I'm going to book a general csec. The thought of that burning and stretching makes me want to faint. I think I'd be one of the moms crawling up the bed away from pain. Ouch, ouch, eina.

hehe MsDee...I have seen and done ALL types of births!!
Births on the bed, births on the floor, women standing on the bed, women trying to crawl up the bed away from the pain, on the toilet, backseat of a car.
and yes, peaceful births too
a lot of women look like that though when they have had an epidural since they cant feel the perineum stretching and burning.
(usually as the head is crowning this is where mom's get VERY antsy and let out a scream due to the stretching and burning pain!)

Okay so i watched half the Video cause i actually thought the whole thing can't be real.
Meags have you ever seen a birth that "peaceful"?

If it's real i want one of those!

Our scan here is just so bad. tried to scan my pics so i could upload. I'll scan over the weekend and upload. These ones i'm showing off. All my friends are also gonna get them.

Being a midwife you'd think I was use to it - but the wonder of birth is just incredible.
