Last night we had a friends bday get together. And we ended up being 3 pregnant ladies. Well, I am in the middle. My sil 25w, me 29 and other girl 32. But I look the furthest along! I am much bigger than the girl at 32w! She is so teeny tiny!

So, I know our(me and sil) shower is 21st. My other sil told me. Jay. I hate surprises!

Congrats on the birth BettyF. What a lovely name! Enjoy every minute.

Sarah Rose, born 6 May by c section.
Had 12 hours labor only 4 cm dialated.
Happy to be holding baby. 3.89 kg

@Betty_F i do hope all goes well with you and whatever happens baby comes homme with you. Loved the nursery photos so inspirational

@Laurakim, what are normal strong pads. and where can one buy them. Sounds wierd but i just got here and would need your help. Like which shops one goes to for this hospital bag and goodies.

@Solo, i dont know really but am happy to here that you got your self esteem as far as eating what you want goes. I have always reckoened we have one life and why not. As you managed to move from Adolescent to woman, i believe you are on the right track to ensure that only what you believe is right is the way your life will be led and unfortunately being surrounded by people like your BF and his mom doesnt help but i guess if they know you are affected it gives them an urge over you. Just me but i would be happy if you also put into consideration that your happiness comes first before appeasing them.
Am happy that you have your mom around who seems so supportive i would give everything for that.

@Esmari, unfortunately it was not a holiday for me but we had gone there for work we had just been invited by some group as a side event for the World Economic Forum Programme in Stellenbosch. Am also insipired by your positive visits, i always feel the same and now that am now seeing the MidWife it would be a different outlook and unfortunately for this baby have seen 3 Gynaes, one Midwife and will meet another Gynae towards delivery which makes it so unnice and impersonal.

OOH MsDee you are indeed almost there and truly speaking you are super organised havent begun the buying stuff please help with the name of the shops where i can go to thats my worry that anything will happen and i dont even have a bag.

MandyMel, thats sad but am not really worried for you as you will see this face once and for all when baby is born.

Ertjie1 congrats and hopefully you have all the time with Nina, and well your recovery has been very exciting in itself

@Sunrise i do hope you relaxed and had the time to your selves before the babies.

AFM, I am glad the week after the holidays at work is finally over. Went to the 2nd handvook shop this evening bought lots of books hopefully to last until baby is born. The one book i will savour is Catherine Churchill's autobiography and well a few of the girl favourites in the mix as well. My mom and dad's tickets have been bought still arriving 19th of June in time for baby to be born. Just getting complements at work that i seem to be handling this pregnancy thing well feels nice... Otherwise enjoy your weekend ladies mine will be spent on the couch and i dont think the global news will keep us as interested as last week with the Royal wedding, Pope, Osama keeping us glued

I just realised that my stomach has dropped! I can breathe again, and i don't feel too full after i eat.
Now i know why women lose their minds towards the end waiting for their babies to come. It is just all so exciting!!!!

I can hardly concentrate, so i've finally put in my leave form. Next friday is my last day.
