Hi Everyone. Sorry I've been MIA, but I've been keeping up with everything.

I have to laugh at all the complaints about breathing and sleeping and moving and grunting, because I'm going through the same things. I can't believe how little I can do!

MsDee, it's exciting that you're so close now and that your body is getting ready to have the baby.

Esmari, I'm hopefully going natural and am a first time mom.

I was at the dr on Friday an baby is healthy and I'm healthy and the head is stil big - very very big. So dr says I should prepare myself that a csec might be the best option, but he'll see next time.

MsDee, I lost my plug with my son a week or 2 before his birth. You are on 36w already, soon you will be 37w and then baba is ready to come! So don't worry too much. Just get your'e urine checked, you could have an infection.

Ag no Rakker, strongs with the bleeding. Hope you get it sorted.

Afm. I got a "Shouldn't you have given birth a week ago' remark yesterday from a total stranger! And when he heard I was only popping mid-end July, he was surprised. And I only then realized, I am really big. Guess I have a lot of amniotic fluid again. Like with my son. Cause the only part of me that is big is my tummy, so almost all 9kg has to be there somewhere.
Dh will have to take a 28w pic later then I will come post so you all can judge.

Got some goodies from my sil again yesterday. They only have 1 child and not planning another. She gave me some towels, blankies, changemat and linen. And also a while ago she gave me her bambino and her highchair - both cost a lot of money new.
Oh, and I know our baby showers are end of May. Sneaky me........

Forgot to add. Dh sanded our cot yesterday, and then I stained it. Now just to get the metal parts looking good again, then I can put it in my room and "decorate" it.

Thanks, guys. I feel more at ease now. I really want to carry for the full 40 wks. Whenever I look at my tummy I feel bad at how small it is, I'm surprised he's even about 2.5kgs. I feel like he must be so tiny still.

Betty_f still can't believe baba won't come out. I'm glad though that you're still calm & patient.

Rakker, that is scary. Please let us know how you are now.

I'm gonna go have my urine checked soon at Healthworx. Not to sound ungrateful but I'm tired of doctors!

MsDee- when I had Matt, my plug came out about 2 days before my waters broke. Are your bags packed?
Try not to panic...
Unsure about the dark urine, mine has also been dark on occasion, but urine tests always clear. Perhaps get it tested if you are concerned.

Rakker- goodness I would have gotten such a fright with all that bleeding. Glad it's less now. Hopefully it's over now.

Don't even get time to read all the posts . And my birth story has to wait a while longer as I had some severe bleeding to sort out. Huge blood clots last night and today, accompanied by loads of bleeding. It's frigging 10 days after giving birth! So today when the bleeding was like a tap running, I put the towel between my legs (over the 2 pads and a linnen saver to top it off) and had DH take me to Wilgers hospital (in case of emergency, go past Wilgers to any other hospital...). Today's bleeding was first only loads and loads of blood and only later on the clot, after which the bleeding was much less. So after 4 hours there with the gynae missing in action (my gynae on leave, so I asked for any gynae), I got an Oxitocin (sp?) shot, a course of antibiotics and my hemoglobin was tested. I was told to just keep a close eye on the bleeding. The bleeding might be due to the placenta that was very hard to deliver in tact, but who knows, as no gynae has seen me and the doctor could only see that much from the outside.

I had to wait long for everything. To be taken to a room (thinking when will the blood start running down my legs or when will I bleed myself to death?). To see a doctor (who was amazed at the amount of blood on the towel, pads, etc. Duh, I told you so). To see the gynae, who never pitched (no other options, only the one missing in action?). To get the blood test result (the lady drawing the blood was there in a flash, at least one ray of light). I even sent DH and my LB home and just kept baby with me. So ya, I will rather go to another hospital if I really need help.

Bleeding fine for now, thank goodness. Will do birth story over the weekend. Sorry for my selfish post .
