MsDee, I've also started wondering about my baby. How will he look and how hard or easy the first weeks will be. I dream about babies every night.

Solo, glad you're okay after the fall. Rather walk like a grandma than fall again.

Esmari, I can't remember if I've said this already, but your bump is lovely. LOL on the shoes. DH has been tying my shoes for weeks. And yesterday while doing the dishes, I actually had to rest my bump in the counter, otherwise I can reach the dishes in the sink.

Milan, congrats on the girl, Hope you haven't bought too many blue things yet.

AFM: Finally doing the maternity ward tour today.
I haven't had any BH but in the evening I get these period like pains (not cramps, just dull aches) and I keep thinking my labour is going to start any moment now. But then it goes away and baby still moves like crazy and I'm still pregnant. I'll ask the dr about them next week. I think my muscle might just be tired at the end of the day.

Solo - it went well Very positive and so far its been quiet but good! I am loving not having to rush to the office and having the freedom to do stuff in the day (I have an assistant in the shop) - wont lie though it is stressful!

MsDee - see thats the thing I am not sure I am going to make 6weeks though Both my other pregnancies were early - 36 and 37 weeks and with all the stress at the moment I am kinda expecting baba in the next 3/4 weeks!

Betty - your nursery looks amazing!!! Well done! Our poor little man has our dressing room thing for now - hopefully we can move next year and he can have his own room - not sure my 9 year old will be ok to share with a baby

Milan & Mandymel, wow! Talk about day light robbery. My first gynae used to charge me R350 per consultation, the current one charges R417. And i think i have the best MA ever! Our company MA has separate maternity benefits which pays for EVETRYTHING! Incl a few consultations after giving birth. So i haven't even touched my day to day benefits this year.

Thamu, have you been for your 4D scan, i hear that's one of the best ways to confirm the sex?

Rakker, Ugh, that sucks! But i'm glad you're getting treated. Get well soon so you can get back to enjoying your little one.

Betty_F, The nursery is gorgeous! You guys are making me feel bad! My mom, just unpacked the babys clothes this weekend and put away all my shopping (still in boxes though). I'm being optimistic here and hoping, i will use the first 2 days of my ML to do a bit of decorating,(hubby will have to set up the cot and stuff since i can't bend anymore) rest on the 3rd day and pop on the fourth day! (yes you can laugh, i'm LMAO too!) A girl is allowed to dream

Laurakim, LOL! It's gonna be a long 6 weeks for you! I think i read you post on another thread (or was it your thread) about being anxious? I'm usually like that, but somehow i have been very patient & calm with my pregnancy.

Nothing much from me, except i've started wondering what/who our baby will look like. Is he gonna be a happy baby, is he gonna be chubby, will I be able to bond easily with him etc.

Milan congrats on your LG! So you also had to have an amnio, it must have been a very stressful time for you. Yay on the results Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy now! My amnio also drained my medical savings, and I am now in my self-payment gap (and it's only May!!!). Hectic as I am seeing gynae every two weeks now, but luckily he only charges R450-00 odd per consult. This business of all antenatal care coming out of medical savings sucks big time!!

MsDee sorry about the stretch marks. I'm expecting mine to rear their ugly head... But as AHA says, it's part of life.

Esmari I keep on being told by some that I am so small, and then by others that I am HUGE. Makes no sense at all. All I know is that I am huffing and puffing and grunting away.
I don't know about anyone else, but I want my old body back, what's the good of feeling all these preggy hormones that make you so "lus" and then you are too big and clumsy to do anything other than just lie there... hmmmmm What happened to swinging from the chandeliers... I hope those days aren't over for good.

Rakker, I do hope you feel better soon. Just as well you had the d&c as you couldn't have carried on like that. Shame hun. Hope your iron levels rise and you start feeling hundreds soon. Thinking of you.

Laurakim, how did the opening of your shop go?
BF couldn't understand how I could just fall! LOL So I told him - I can't see my feet anymore!!! And my centre of gravity has shifted. I'm also walking like a granny now... I'm petrified of another fall... and this is from the lady that thought nothing of falling off a horse. I feel old.

Thanks to everyone for your concern. I'm very stiff today and I had forgotten how much skinned knees hurt! But baby and I are fine.

I have my 4D scan next Tuesday. I doubt I will see baby's face because he has hidden himself at every single scan that I have had from day 1. Not even a coke and bar one coaxed him to move a bit. me thinks he is stubborn! He also moves away from me when I try to bond and rub him though my tummy. I'm beginning to feel rejected!

AFM - My “surprise” babyshower is this Saturday 
I also have an appointment on Thursday, but only at 17:45.
Tomorrow is my last day at work can’t wait for ML to start.
I will probably be seriously mia, don’t know how I’m going to log on – and my phone just drives me mad. But I will try.
