Hi everyone,

Just popping in and catching up. Been a hectic week this week and last! Colby is sick and now I am too. :( Just a cold but when ur exhausted from seeing to a sick toddler, it feels like the plague!

Welcome back Chanz and congrats on your marriage. Glad you had a good time. I am a SAHM for exactly the same reasons as you gave. Wouldn't get anything out at the end of the day, so why put us through that. I love being at home but sometimes it's necessary to escape and get a little adult time.
For the hospital bag...there's lovely lists out there but here are the little extras that I found useful: definitely disposable panties, you've never bled that much in your life (ask for a linen saver under you on the bed too) Black thorn berry elixir - helps with energy and to get the milk flowing. Little nail scissors for baby - they almost always have the longest nails and scratch their perfect little faces! Other than that, I can't recall but just remember that DH can always run to the shops if you desperate for something so don't panic too much. ;)

So cute Lindy! Glad you saw movement! Makes it feel more real!

Oh and I just wanted to say about the prams...we bought ours (a Graco) about 5 months before my son was born. It only has a 1 year warranty. So after only using it for 7 months...it broke (we used it a lot) but we couldn't get them to fix it. So maybe put the money in the bank and buy it the month baby is born. Then you get full use of the warranty.

Sorry I'm not catching up with everyone. Had loads to comment on but can't remember.

Who asked about libido? I'm hoping mine returns now that it's 2nd trimester along with my appetite, energy and sense of humor. I have a definite bump now. Can feel it when I lie down and people who know me keep asking if I'm pregnant! Was hoping it would take a bit longer to show! Oh well!

 when is father's day? i am not buying anything, sorry :) maybe chokolate if i can have grace :) he even forgot that i am her daughter's mother on mother's day. how nice!!

Liz, the nappies looks cute.

1. when the baby sleeps u must also sleep, Chanz

2. because my nipples were cracked i was advised that i need to rub them with massaging oil and make them soft and prepare them myself before the baby arrives because if the baby suck them hard as they are its a problem. i am still going to try it.
those of u who r going to antenatal classes please share with us what they teach u about breast feeding. n if they dont touch this part please ask.

i just had grapes but its like they make me more hungry. i am off to eat.
