My gynae appointment on Friday was okay, didn't get an ultrasound (I totally expected it because my gynae back home has an ultrasound machine in her rooms but apparently it works differently here). Did get to hear the heartbeat though But will only find out the sex at the next ultrasound around 18 weeks..

Im 16w on sat and still struggling a bit with MS. Def better on the whole, but had a bad day today! Partly coz of stress i think! Have been pretty hectic. We EVENTUALLY got an offer on our place and accepted it on Sat, so now we have to hope they get their bond. In the mean time we have found the house of our dreams and put in an offer last night, but have not heard anything yet (will hopefully have an answer by tomorrow) We trying not to get our hopes up to much which will lead to disappointment, and have to believe that what is meant to be will be! Had butterflies in my stomach for the last few days.

2km - Great to hear your scan went well! let us know when you get your bloods!

Firefly - I have also had quite a few headaches and had the odd dizzy day - Gyne said it was prob blood pressure so I must add extra salt to my diet.

Champers, Congratulations on the girl! I am also worried about my energy levels and dealing with two children. Everyone I talk to says the second child is much easier to raise than the first one, so let's hope

Finally, my family is back. Whoopiee 3 and a half days working left. Next week this time, I am on my way to the coast.

My energy levels are picking up, but unfortunately so also my heartburn. Bleh.

But hey, with all these good things, who is going to complain

Oh shame dts! Sorry to hear about your hospital visit and the gall stone. I hope these next three weeks speed by. Or rather, that the ms goes away before then - I'm just about 13 weeks and still have some ms, though nothing near as bad as it used to be. I was also struggling to get down liquids - popsicles help a little, you can suck on them and it is a way of getting liquids in without drinking them.

2kmm - sorry to hear about your dh, shame, poor guy! Glad to hear your downs screening went well My baby's nuchal fold measurements was around the same as yours and my bloods came out as low risk too. Lol at your shy baby. Mine was putting his/her hands over his/her face during the scan.

Glad to hear your ms is gone and that you can eat meat again (I am W.A.I.T.I.N.G. for that day!). I also had one or two slightly dizzy moments and a few really mild headaches. My iron is fine though. I just figured that it was a normal side effect?

How is everybody else doing?

I havent been online for a while, not been well the MS was really bad, gt admitted into hospital last thursday for dehydration.

they also found out that i have a gallstone, not an issue now, but later on in pregnancy when i get bigger, i may have to have a caeasar then they will take out same time.

i am out of hospital now, but MS is still there, not so bad tho, i have to eat every 2 hours, and little foods,

feeling so miserable, just wish 12 weeks can come sooner, i am 9 weeks now

Hi Ladies

Just been to the Doctor this morning. All looks fine with little one. This is a very shy baby so it seems it probably is a gir. She kept lying with her back to the camera on her side so there were no nice photos at all. I Got a picture to take home but you can't see much at all. All looks fine with the neck measuring 0.10cm which is within range. he said anything up to 0.30 is fine. He took bloods and will let me know the results tomorrow or Wednesday. Other than that all is hunky dory. Heart beat is 152bpm.
