StaceySmey: I take it bay is bday? Hope you have a special day and that the xmas party runs smoothly. They always tended to get completely out of hand. Wow CONGRATS on finding out you are having a LB. I thought Dr's could tell that soon but my Dr refuses to say anything until he is 100% sure. So I must wait till the next scan. In my heart, I think its a girl.

Firefly: Those leaves must be stunning. I've only seen the photo's of how amazing it looks there but would love to witness it for myself one day.

licha: You are very lucky to have your sister share the joy of pregnancy with you. I hope it continues to be "easy" on you

2kidmamma: I'm sorry that you had to deal with that. It cant have been easy on any of you. My father-in-law was also taken by cancer. I know it affects you for a very long time.

Sweett86: Wow I'm not sure I could cope with house guests for so long. My limit is 3 nights and then they must go. LOL! Oz, wow I'm jealous. We had a trip booked but due to DH's dad taking ill, we had to cancel. Have a brilliant time! DH attends every appointment with me. He works so hard, he never wants to miss one.

Chantel0912: heat hasn't been too bad here. One day it rains, next its warm. Where is summer???

Hello gorgeous ladies,
Been so hectic the last few days, haven't really had much time to catch up properly.
Welcome to the new ladies!
How are the rest of u ladies doing? I'm sooo glad it's the weekend! Have such a hectic weekend though. It's my bay Tom and my hubby's office Christmas party the whole day - I hope I make it thru the whole day and evening! ( the party is from 3pm till 11pm)

So went to the gyne yesterday, for our 12 week checkup and he is very happy had bloods which will get results on mon. But we have decided to tell all close family and friends! Don't think I can keep quiet for much longer. Oh and we were also lucky enuf to find out the sex. It's a boy so if I'm correct there are 2 of us for the blue team so far? Gyne didn't say for 100 sure, but u could def see his ill member, he was about 90percent sure. We not going to tell the sex until the next appointment just Incase .

How are u all doing, how's the ms? Mins is def still lingering, had a good day on we'd but a shocking day yest so let's hope it's on the mend!

So happy it rained in jhb yest at least it is a bit cooler!

Licha - how great that you and your sister are going through this together. You're so lucky that you're having an enjoyable pregnancy so far, I hope it continues like that for you!

2kmm - I was wondering what happened to you, you've been really quiet lately. Sounds like you went through a lot with your dad, I pray that with time it will get easier for you.

Sweett86 - seeing the movement on the ultrasound is the best thing ever! It still makes me smile to remember our little bean jumping around. I'm sure you'll get lovely baby stuff in Aus, my SIL moved there and my MIL visits her at least once a year - they bought the most gorgeous baby stuff earlier this year with my (other) SIL had her baby boy.
My hubby has come with to all the appointments this far - he doesn't want to miss out on the ultrasounds!

Michelle - I am also off meat, the one or two times I have tried to eat chicken/lamb I just felt so bloated and uncomfortable and then ended up throwing it all up anyway. Fish seems to be okay though.

Adele - glad you're feeling better!

Chantel - how are you doing? Can't comment on the heat because it's autumn here. I'm missing summer back home but the gold and red leaves and trees make up for it, so stunning!

@ firefly This is my first LO but i cant wait.

I have a very lovely pregnancy, i have no ms or any of those things. My baby sister (she is 21) is also pregnant, she is now 14 weeks so our LO will be born very close together.
I am 25 and moved to Cape Town 3 months ago.
I am a stay at home "mom"

Hi Michelle, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, cancer is an aweful aweful thing. My Dad was diagnosed with Kidney cancer which had inturn spread throughout his body ending up in Secondary brain cancer (He was only diagnosed at stage 3) So there was nothing they could do. The Brain cancer caused ceisures that were unstoppable and the last one he had is actually what led to his death. It went on for 3 days. This all was in the space of just 2 months to the day. I also pray for amiracle for your Dad, as i am in that spot now that I don't know what to do without mine. Hugs to you friend.

Sjoe, I have been so buys I havn't been able to catch up on what has been going on here at all. I have to go out now but will hopefully be able to catch up over lunch.
