@Adele my appt went well, thanks. Saw little baba kicking legs and moving arms, even though it is only 38mm. Crazy weird! Glad you found something that helps your heartburn.

@firefly I'm with you on the ms..... SO grateful it is gone but now I feel like I'm eating A LOT!

@Michelle you must be super excited about feeling baba kick. I can't wait for that.

@Chantal my due date is 8 June! I am HATING this heat in JHB! Yikes.

@2kmm I hope the rest of your week is going better!

I am going to have house guests again for the next 3 weeks. Yikes! Extra work for me. At least dh has been helping a lot around the house.

So looking forward to holiday in Dec. Dh and are traveling to Aus with my family to visit extended family. I'm sure i'll do lots of baby shopping there:)

Firefly, I got Zantac for the heartburn. It really helps a lot!

I feel much better today. I wonder if it can be the thyroid meds that started to work so quickly!

@Firefly.... loving the mielies!!! I pigged out on 4 for supper last night and was in total heaven. I seem to be craving fruit & veg at the moment, no meat. I had a kiwi, pineapple & melon salad from Food Lovers Market for lunch yesterday and it really hit the spot.

Hi Licha! Welcome to our group I can't remember exactly but I think there may be others sharing your due date - I know 2kmm is pretty close since she is having a c-section. Are you a first time mom or do you have other kids?

Adele - wow, your Lene certainly has a hectic schedule I hear due dates can fluctuate a lot, especially if you had a cycle which was not 28 days - it's a "guess date" anyway. What is it that is helping you with the heartburn? Glad that you found something! Oh, and I am totally emotional too, I keep crying at all these ridiculous American ads, so you are not alone with that one.

Michelle - I'm sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts and prayers and with you. SO awesome that you are feeling kicks!

I am so thankful to God that my ms is going away. I threw up my supper (SUPPER! A MEAL! well, 3 fishfingers and some ovenbaked chips) yesterday but that was because I tried to get down my vitamins. I still have tons of food aversions but given the past 5 weeks I feel like I am just stuffing my face at the moment - in the last day and a half I have eaten almost three quarters of a watermelon (by myself), half a sweet melon, a whole cucumber, about a bag of baby carrots, 2 bowls of wheat porridge, a large packet of salt&vinegar lays, a couple of mielies, 3 fishfingers and some oven baked chips

Champers, I am sorry your MS is back, hope it goes away again soon.

Sweet86, how did your gynae visit go? Also went for bloods this morning and the Nurse couldn't find a veign. Ended up drawing blood from the back of my hand. Luckily the nurse was very gentle and used a thin needle.

MariBiscuit: Congratulations on the boy, I am also secretly wanting one, but I still have a way to go before I find out.

Firefly, I am so glad you are feelling better.

So, I went for a check up yesterday. Doctor is happy with the baby and the heart is beating strong. Just my due date keeps getting pushed back. Initially my due date was 14 June, with the last visit it is now 26 June. I am really confused, but hey I suppose it is not an exact science.

I finally got something that works for heartburn. Yippieeee!!!!! Now it is just the total exhaustion that I need to fight off. The doc did send me for bloods to check my thyroid levels. He is thinking that my thyroid might be the culprit making me ssoo tired.

It is still warm here, and my office aircon is still not working. GRRRrrr. I have been feelling a bit bluesy lately, lots of crying and emotions going haywire. Geez, I cannot hold house with myself anymore!

I went to watch Lene ballet yesterday, she looked so cute. Next week it is the pre-school annual concert and the ballet prizegiving. She has been a little busy bee lately!
