oh and I forget to add... for all the ladies still struggling with ms, hang in there it does get better. Mine has finally gone all together... only to be replaced with heartburn but finding the gaviscon tablets to be working a charm and staying away from bread because that really seems to get the heart burn going.

Hi all and welcome to all the new ladies... glad to see(read) that everyone is doing well... 2km I hope you have a better day today... my dad is fighting stage 3 melanoma cancer and we're all praying for a miracle because I really don't know how I would get through my life without him, he's my "go to" person when I'm having a bad day and I just can't imagnine not being able to pick up the phone whenever and talking to him. So lots of hugs 2km.

Congrats on Team Blue Mari- we're hoping to find out which team we're on on 1 December which can't come quick enough for me- it's the big appointment, downs foetal assessment etc etc

So excited... I felt definite movement for the first time this morning, the last couple of weeks has been an is it or isn't it kind of situation, but today at my desk slouched in my chair wading thru wages I felt a definite couple of kicks- don't think bean liked me slouching in my chair too much!! lol!!

2nd day of sunshine in Durban today my washing will finally dry!!

I'm having a good day today Actually sat through a whole class this morning without feeling nauseas, yay! I should probably do some work while I still feel good, but instead I'm planning on taking a walk around the park with my camera and taking some pics of the beautiful autumn leaves.

2kmm, sorry to hear you are having a bad day. Do you and your friend have skype? Being so far away from home, I can tell you that it makes such a difference being able to chat to everyone. Hope that you feel better. What happened at work?

Maribiscuit - congrats on your blue! How exciting

Sweett86, my doc (who I haven't even met yet - this system is so weird!) doesn't do the downs test either, I'm being sent to the hospital. I know that my gynae back in SA also doesn't do it herself but sends her patients to a different doctor. I also generally have problems giving blood - ppl can never find my veins and I always end up with bruises. I think my schedule is also a doctor/nurse visit once a month.

Stacey - what about trying a chiropractor to help with the back pain? Otherwise maybe even a massage will help.

Hi ladies

hope you are all well tody? I am having a very emotional day today. I am missing my Dad terribly (he passed on in August) I am also missing my good friend who moved away to another town last year and I really really miss her esspecially on days like today when i just want to go visit her and have coffee and a chat. I have had a bad work day also, just had two incidents at work today that have really upset me.

Maribuscuit, congrats on the Boy, you must be thrilled that you will have a pigeon pair? Take it from one who knows, having a boy after a girl is a baptism of fire, Boys are hectic esspecially if you had a very easy quiet girl. But Boys are lovely and they bring much joy!

@ Chatel, it's nice that you are joining us. I am also in my 10th week and my Edd is also 14 June.

@ staceySmey, I also suffer from the lower back pain issues, I did with my other pregnancies too. It's worse with my second and third becaseu of the CSections. The muscles that form my core muscles that were cut with the operations have never really regained their strength and so that is why I suffer with the back ache.

Girls, the Estate we live in is really awesome, so safe and like a little world on it's own. i love it there (We rent a place but to be an owner you need to be rolling in it and some of those ladies there on saturday didn't mind making you know that) I don't care really, I pretty much keep to myself anyway. I love my housie and love living there but doubt I will connect with too many of the people there.

My MS is still here but not too bad today, yesterday it was hovering all day and I had a few gagging sessions but after my dinner (Homeade soup) it got better.

Sweett86 my Doctor does all the scan and blood tests at 13 weeks so we don't have to go anywhere else.

Morning everyone!!

I didn't work a thing yesterday, feel so guilty!! Went to the gynae this morning, it's a boy!! Everything is looking fine, went for the Down's bloodtest as well.

Sweet86, my tummy feels huge! Can already see the bump at the bottom of my stomach (the top is just fat haha).
I'm going for my 4D scan 22 December, then they'll also check for Down's and the lip and everything if I remember correct?

Champers sorry to hear you're still struggling with MS!

Stacey it's cold here in CT, well today it's actually nice and hot but we had alot of rain over the weekend and it was freezing! I don't have lower back pain but had it bad with the first pregnancy! My gynae warned me this morning that the pains might start for me now, he said shooting pains on the sides of the uterus that runs down is normal. The warm water bag will definitely hel..or maybe ask hubby very nicely to massage your lower back?

2KM, hope your MS disappears soon. I'm so relieved that it skipped me with both pregnancies!
Those women in the estate sounds pretty uptight..not my kind of people either. I'm still driving an old Jetta (box type) so imagine what they would think of me haha
