How is everybody doing today? So quiet here. I just been to the shops and couldn't make up my mind what I wanted. R263 later I walked out of woolworths with a bag full of snacks, drinks & Sweets. I promised myself I wouldn't open the Jelly beans but I couldn't help myself and now I can't stop eating them. Lets not even talk about the egg mayo sarmie & The curry Rooti that I just devoured. Girls, I am going to have to watch this weight of mine. I don't want to gain 20Kg's like I did with my daughter.

Hi Everyone!

Stacey! So glad - you are almost at the 12 week mark :woohoo: Personally, we caved in, we started telling the world

Firefly, smell of meat cooking gets to me. We are now mostly a braai and salad household!

MariBiscuit, welcome to the thread! We are happy to have you!

Champers, Not to worry, I think most of us has this pregnancy brain that will keep forgetting stuff! I think I must sommer klaar apologize for those that I left out!

Sweett86, Also exhausted, I am feelling it with you. My food aversions include Bacon?! Wimpy breakfast just ain't the same  Good luck for next week's scan!

Michelle, Cannot believe you are 16 weeks already. FX that you can find out the gender soon!

2kidmamma, love the name Carla! I think we will also be fighting over names in my house. Apparently what I like and what my husband likes is polar opposites ;)

In my world right now, I have MS in a very literal sense. I feel sick every single morning, but by the afternoon the nausea and headaches and most of the exhaustion has subsided. I crave granadilla yoghurt and fruit cocktail.

Lene is doing her first Ballet exam on Friday, and we are really looking forward to it. Then we have a kiddies party on Saturday, but then it should quiet down for the rest of the weekend. (looking forward to an afternoon nap!)

Time is flying at work and my to do list keeps getting longer. I have so much to do before the December holiday! I hope everybody still have a fabulous week!

@ Firefly, with my daughter I also new it would be a girl virtually from the start and we only got the news at 28 weeks that we were having a girl, the dr could never tell us.

With my Son, I was told from around 18 weeks I was having a girl and with each visit yes it was definatley a girl then after the december holidays I went for my gyne visit and lo and behold (This was like already into 30 weeks odd) HELLO it's a BOY!! I had luckily gone with a very unisex theme for the nursery but we already had a name picked and everything. The Baby would have been Mila-Jessica. We might still use either of those names but i am not all that fond of Jessica to be honest, that was my Husbands suggestion. Other names we have also talked abut Nina in the past too.

You get that Gender predictor here too but it's quite pricey. I am happy to keep this one a supprise, infact i am quite excited about it.

Morning ladies!

From the moment I did the hpt I had this gut instinct that the baby would be a boy. But since then I've dreamt it will be a girl.. so now I'm not sure, lol. I have nothing to compare it to either. I did one of those online gender prediction quizzes though and it says boy :) You get the intelligender home tests here but I don't think I'm going to bother with it, I've read that it is about 50/50 anyway and it's pretty expensive.

We haven't settled on any names yet either. I think we'll wait until we know whether we're looking at girl or boy names.

Morning Lady Friends

Nice to see so much chatting on the thread. We are not going to find out the baby's gender but I am guessing it's definately a girl. The cravings I am having are much like those I had with my daughter and the round stomach i am growing all our in front is identical to how I carried my little girl, all in front and nothing at the back. With my Daughter I had this huge stomach and non existent bum and with my son I had this huge bum & Thighs and a reasonable average tummy. Apparantly there is some old wives tale that dictates just that and my Mom has already said her money is on a girl! My MS is still Lingering but it hasn't been as severe as it was on the weekend, hoping it will just get less and less.

It's freezing in CT and the only warm thing I can bring myself to drink is Hot chocolate which is super fattening. Atleast we have an endless supply of it here at work.

Have any of you started with the naming game? My Hubby and I and now my daughter too just cannot agree on any names. I keep giving them suggestions and then they pull the names apart. We will most likely be using the name Carla as a second name if it's a girl because My dad who passed away in August's name was Karl and so I think it's fitting and that is one name that we can all agree on.
