Sorry for being mia for so long but my pc @ home keeps bombing out! I am on my tablet now.

Congrats to all the new mommies! I think all the active mommies on this thread have had their bundles of joy. I will just double check the records lol

Clueless, how are you doing and how is Isla now? Can you just resend me your bbm pin cause I used the one you sent me but you haven't accepted yet.......

Afm - I am ok. Just tired at times and it looks like Jayden is going through a growth spurt. It has been going on for 3 days. He is constantly on the breasts, suffering from cramps, doesn't sleep too great during the day but today is a kittle bit better. Hopefully he'll be back to his own self tomorrow.

As for the birth, he really surprised me early thurs morning - 29 Nov. At first I wasn't sure if it was urine or my water but I soon realised that my water broke lol. Contractions started when I got at the hospital and were about 5 mins apart. The c-sec went well. Haven't taken any pain meds since I got home and the bleeding down there is very very minimal.

I hope you are all coping with baby and enjoying your time. It goes by so fast soon we will be planning their first birthdays lol. I just wanted to update you on what went on since my last conversation.

I last say the doc on the 28th Nov and asked him if i could rather have the baby on the 5th of Dec at 39 weeks. He said he couldn't because he is going to the UK for a conference and will only be coming back the next week Thursday. I just wanted to cry because i was soo tired. He told me another doc will be standing in for him if i wanted i could still have the csec. I was not comfortable with this because i did not know the doc plus i had been seeing my doc for all these months i decided to wait and have baby as planned on the 12.12.12.

I was going to take my leave from the 3rd of Jan and had already planned what i would be doing for each day of the week. I was excited for the break and though its not so bad i will wait until doc gets back.

On Mon 3rd Dec 5 a.m i woke up with some cramps on my wait to the toilet i felt wet down my legs. My waters had broken and my contractions had started. I called the maternity ward and they asked me to go in immediately. When i got there they checked and indeed i was in labour since i had two previous csec's i was definitely having another one.

Baby was born at 1:09 p.m at 3.75kgs he was a little blue with some fluid in his lungs so the paed wanted to place him in the incubator for a couple on minutes so hubby went with the baby. It felt like forever until the doctors finished. She says i was so lucky i went in immediately because my uterus is paper thin and if i went into active labour i would definitely have ruptured. She asked if i planned on having anymore i said no ways i am done. So she recommends i look at permanent measures just to be on the safe side. It was great that she let me leave on Wednesday so i didn't have to stays all three days in hospital.

Baby is now five days old sleeping peacefully beside me. He is the best baby ever hardly cries all he does is drink and sleep. Thanks God i hope he stays this way. The only problem is that he comfort feeds so he is always on the boob i have tried the dummy but he refuses we will see how things go.

Oh mosaneo, I'm not sure if you will read this, but if I could do it all over with this pregnancy, I would be induced again in a heart beat. It really meant a lot to have my dh at my side. My parents were dead set against induction, my mother was VERY upset and wanted to go into my gynae appointment with me. For us it was the best decision, I don't think it affected the baby negatively. The experience was not as bad as I expected (except for the pushing and vacuum part, cos I was literally ready to give up, but that would've happened if I my waters broke naturally as well cos my baby was big) but it is different for everyone.

Congrats babyzee! I remember you were team yellow? Glad we can add another boy to the group! I'm typing from my phone, so I can't check, but weren't you planning on having the c-sec today? Please update as soon as you can. So far you have the biggest baby!

I had my boy 30 November at 5:44pm. He was induced from the night before, but I was on epidural from right the beginning, so the only time I felt pain or contractions was when it was time to push. Jeez, it was painful! I didn't realize I would feel so much while on epi! my dh was great though, so was the labour sister. The doctor gave me until 5pm to be fully dialated, otherwise he would do a c-sec. I was progressing very slowly, but by 4:30 I was fully dialated. It was the best news the sister could ever give me. After 45min of pushing and little progress, the doctor was called to bring the vacuum. Thankfully Baby was born soon after this. Healthy baby boy at 3.64kgs.

I'm back at the hospital now cos Izaan has jaundice, we stayed overnight. Hopefully we can leave this evening, they will only repeat the test at 4pm cos he's levels were still slightly high,

How is everyone doing? Sorry I haven't sent whatsapp or bbm details...that's cos I have neither at the moment. I'm hoping to get my old phone back soon cos I'm tired of taking such poor quality photos with this phone!

I am so happy today is my last day, i am jumping with Joy. Ms_S goodluck with getting induced, please tell me how it goes so i can decide as well. i will send you my number so you can watsapp me pls coz i wont have access to the internet for a week.

Congrats Momtoc! You got just what you wanted, baby came a week early I hope you and baby are doing well, and the breastfeeding is going smoothly! Please update us as soon as you can.

How is everyone else and their babies?

AFM I'm booking in tonight, I'm going to be induced Mosaneo, I'll really let you know how it goes! Hopefully baby will arrive tomorrow, but if I don't manage to push him out by 5pm, the doctor will do a c-sec. I'm prepared for a looong 24 hours now. The baby is almost 4kgs, and the longer he stays, the bigger he will get, and I'll likely need a c-sec anyway cos of he's size. So I've decided just to try induction first then. So nervous cos I haven't had any cramping so far, no frequent urination, no dropping of the tummy, nothing. Baby seems very comfortable being where he is.
