Hi Ladies,

I last posted the day I gave birth and have been struggling to post anything ever since. I really don't know what was happening with my account.

Anywho it's great to see that things are going well with everyone. Hard to believe that some of you guys are already back at work wheeew, time really does fly.

Everything has been so great with my LG, I'm so obsessed with her. She really eased me quite nicely into motherhood and I'm loving every minute of it.

Hi ladies

I haven't been on the forum for ages. Loving the new app!

My LG is 4 month's old already and scary how time flies. I was against breastfeeding in the beginning of my pregnancy as I didn't want to feel like a cow but decided to give it a try... And I couldn't be happier.

Baby latched on perfectly from the first attempt and been a breeze since then. I have experienced no pain whatsoever and have never had the need to even use any creams. I can't believe the amazing bond it creates.

My little one suffered quite a bit with colic and now we have moved on to teething. Been through some rough night but it is all totally worthwhile especially when they smile and so happy.

@jay-bee, how are you doing? Did you have to go in to get the placenta removed?

@sonsbaby, how are you feeling?
I also used the bepanthen and it helped!
Good luck with the reflux. My daughter also has a little bit of reflux, but no back arching, just a lot of curdled spit up!

When is everyone bathing baby? At night she seems so sleepy! And as its cold, I don't want to bath baby during the day when I know I am going to have to take her out of the house!

Has anyone gotten anything from UIF?

@Jay-Bee - I drink jungle juice and make lactation cookies to help with my milk seems to work nicely as I can feed baba and still pump out afterwards to build up a supply in the freezer. I am still planning on continuing breastfeeding. I think I read somewhere about retained placenta and low milk supply so sorry you had to go through that!

@ Maj I also had badly cracked nipples in the beginning! Was so painful until I started using bepanthen salf! Then that at least cleared up!

My little one started with reflux a couple of weeks ago he would scream when he was drinking and arch away from my breast. This continued to a extend that sometimes both baby and myself would be in tears! I was very hard on myself and felt very disappointed in the whole breastfeeding experience and felt like a failure! At least now its going a bit better after I started giving gavascon before every feed. Its still a bit of a struggle as sometimes he does not want to drink long and then I would stress all over again of he is getting enough food! I sometimes wonder why something so natural as breastfeeding can be so stressful and difficult! Baby is picking up weight and is healthy at 10 weeks he weighed 5,35kg.
