Hope I got the list correct!!
On Mon night, my daughter had a fever and called me to her bed a couple of times. So I did not sleep very well. When I woke at 5:30, I knew it was d-day.
I had contractions in my pelvis and lower back. They were fairly mild.
At about 7am I sent hubby to work and told him he is going to have to be back in a few hours so he needs to finish what he needs to do! He of course did not believe me

I was scheduled for a app with the gynea at 10:30. Even drove as my mum is not too confident driving in CT yet. the dr did all the checks, and an internal- I was about 4cm dilated. Then he monitored baby's heart rate for about 20 mins. I was having 3 contractions in 10mins!! But I did not want to go to the hospital just yet, and the dr agreed, he told me to go for a walk and eat something spicy, and come to the hospital a bit later. So hubby came home, we went for a walk, ate some sandwiches, and was at the hospital at about 14:30. Again, they monitored heart rates for 30 mins and when the sister did the internal at about 15:15, she said 7cm, then she said no 9cm

my water still hadn't broken though. The pain was still ok, and the dr ruptured the membranes. I stood up as lying down was uncomfortable. And had the urge to push, but could not move. The sister had her hands between my legs so that the baby doesn't fall out! They finally got me into the bed, and at 15:50, my daughter Naseeha was born! 3.91kgs, 51cm tall!
However I had a vein bleeding in the uterus, and although the dr tried closing it, I was still loosing blood. I was taken to theatre for a D&C. This morning my blood count was still low, and I'm now having a blood transfusion.
The baby is doing well, feeding nicely. Burping is a bit of a mission, but seems better than with the first.
@CDLK- You have a beautiful daughter!!
@ ninies- im glad you are doing wat is best for you. I am also going to feel the change when my mum leaves, she has to get back home, to work and to my dad. My in laws have also come down to CT today, but will also need to go back to their lives soon. im sure we will find a pattern and settle.
@ jay-bee congratulations! How's your princess? Rosalie is such a pretty name!
@licious, congratulations. Your contractions sounded quite hectic! Your daughter is beautiful!
