Hi GRBM I guess if the Dr is not worried then you shouldn't worry, sometimes its hormones.

@Maj and Ninies today its better than yesterday, and at least the weather its cooperating...its cooler in PTA.

@Monei talk about breast mine are times 2 big. i am so scared that they wont go back to normal.

I see i'm not odd. lol. I "bunked" work yesterday. needed a day off from life- for some reason i'm tired. slept pretty much all day. Back at work and need to catch up with an overdue submission for school. Life goes on!

I only experience heartburn once. wasn't sure what was happening to me but eventually realised what it was. Since then I get burp- amper-vomit that wants to come up, like a reverse burp. I'm not nauseous tho. Initially felt like my water wasn't truly going down after swallowing.

@welcome GRBM. I grew lumps towards the end of my first trimester/ or early 2nd trimester. the right one bigger and harder than the left one. they were only sore when i pressed them. Generally behind/under my nipple, so nowhere near my armpits. Gynae wasn't worried and said likely that progesterone hormone that had been reason for other preggy changes. And i truly haven't worried since. i don't even know if they are still there. my boobs are just big and heavy for me to bother them any further. Will see after baby.

Regarding the lump-is it a lump or a bump? From the start of pregnancy I get these "bumps" on my areoles (excuse my spelling), with all the hormones. I had it during my first pregnancy, I cant remember when they disappeared though. It maybe the same thing, it may also be a swollen duct, etc

I also agree with ninies, if the dr isnt concerned, you shouldnt worry so much.
My suggestion, monitor it for the next week or so, see if there is any changes (shape, size, sensitivity, etc). If it changes, go see another dr, just for a 2nd opinion (rather be safe than sorry), and if it doesnt, then relax a bit, but just keep an eye on it.
Your next app with the gynea is at 30 weeks right?

I remember the glands being quite bad with my first 1, when I eventually told my mum, I got such a scolding because I wasnt massaging them enough. Apparently at some hospitals, you can get a type of "physiotherapy" done on your breasts to help clear clog ducts and glands, etc and make it less painful.

I am sooo hungry today! i think its because I slept in a bit today, and only had 1 breakfast and not my usual 2 breakfasts before I left home!!

I am not experiencing any lumps on my breasts and I am 33 weeks and a few days. I dont think you should stress too much about it, if your gynae is not worried. It could be because of the pregnancy hormones.

A friend at work had a gland swollen under her armpit while she was pregnant with her second child. They removed it, and she was not able to feed from that breast, but she still breastfed her daughter from the other breast.
I do understand that you are stressed about it.
Sorry I am not able to give much more insight.

How is everyone else doing and feeling today?

Hi Ladies

I am 27 weeks and 5 days, been reading all your posts and each time i tell myself i am going to post something i just get lazy. i am not much of a typer, so today i thought i share something that is bothering me and stressing me out since last week Thursday. So this is my 2nd pregnancy and we are expecting a girl for the 2nd time around We are very excited and can not wait for our LG to get here.

What worries me is that i regularly examine my breast for any lumps each month, last week Wednesday i noticed a lump on my right boob at the top of the nipple,this worried me so much that on Friday when i went to see my Gynie i raised it up with him, he checked the limp and said it is nothing to worry about because such happens during pregnancy, the boobs are preparing for milk and he said we will monitor the lump and if it grows and run some more tests after i have given birth, but its nothing i should worry about my boob feels normal. I cant keep shaking the feeling that it could be more that just pregnancy lump, because it is only on my right boob, nothing on the left

Is anyone experiencing any lumps? I wonder if i should go to a mamogram now or wait till baby is here. Im really stressed out, the thought of not able to breastfeed my Lg stresses me even more. My C-section is scheduled for the 23 May. An advice will be highly appreciated

@Ninies I know exactly what you mean...I am feeling much better now (1 hour to knock off)

@Maj I wish had that patience to sew, its not in me... but if you enjoy it I am sure it will be a good time killer if you are bored.

@licious & ninies, hang in there. We all know those days. Maybe try and get home a bit early and just unwind for a bit before starting with dinner, etc (or buy take-outs just for today).

@ ninies, glad the tests were clear (and that its cooling down).
I also do the occasional basic sewing. While on previous maternity leave (I was at my mum's) so i sewed 1 of those breastfeeding apron things. But I hardly ever used it!! I actually have no idea where it even is...
This time around, I figure ill do the sheets, the moses basket has an oval mattress!!
Will def ask, especially if I am bored and need some easy ideas!
