Thank you ladies for your responses. i will definitely keep an eye on it, hopefully its just hormones. Have you ladies started shopping for your little once? i haven't bought anything yet and i am a little worried that maybe i am just too relaxed, I haven't even booked a bed. Baby is doing very well, but my back is not doing pretty well i think it must be the office chair i am using. right now i just wish my maternity leave was tomorrow  i am not enjoying the office any more. Have you ladies decided when your going on maternity leave?

@Maj My next appointment is at 30 weeks,

@Monie and Licious My boobs are still fine, they are not too big except for the right one which seems to be slightly bigger than the left one. My sister thinks maybe that's the one that's going to produce more milk than the other

@ Maj, great idea and I have now also started squatting every time I have to bend to pick something up. It is easier on my belly but my now huge legs feel like jelly when I stand up again :silly:

Shoo I hear you!

I know that there is going to be just baby time and not hubby and wife time but we spoke about it and we are going away in two weeks time to relax and do nothing. I started looking after my sisters little ones from 6 months so that they could get away for a afternoon or evening so its payback. Not sure how it will work if I am breastfeeding but think I a going to have my sister (who lives 10 minutes away) look after baby for a few hours so that hubs and I can do something alone together.

But that will only be when baby is a few months old... well that is at least the plan to remain sane lol.

@Jaybee - I know exactly what you mean. Even with this being my 2nd baby, I somedays feel that it is going to change everything. My son sleeps through the night - thinking that I will have to go back to square 1 makes me anxious.
Exactly what you are feeling is what caused me to have baby blues. Suddenly after my son was born, my husband and I had very little time for us. We could not even sit down and eat together in the beginning. One had to eat while the other had to watch the baby or feed the baby or put the baby to sleep. But luckily all that passes too.

@ Ninies, yes I am sure one needs quite a few fitted sheets and the winter sheeting will be great and nice and warm for baby. I am sure that you are going to save a great deal making your own.
Thank you and I feel a bit better now, just so worried something is wrong but maybe its also because space is getting limited.

I felt so strange yesterday and was thinking that my "single" life is going to be over and I was even sad. Like my husband and I would decide on a whim to jump in the car and drive to the beach or shops or throwing a nice big braai with some red wine and sleeping in on Sundays  But today I am fine again... so weird

@Jaybee - the baby bedding is very expensive. My MIL also got a set made for me. I still have my son's, which I will use as a spare set when the one is in the wash. I remember I had about 2 or 3 fitted sheets and it was just not enough. He was a reflux baby, and I had to change the sheet somedays more than once. I also remember they were expensive at that time as you could only get them from baby shops. So I decided to make my own this time around and to make atleast 3 or 4. The nice thing is I can make winter sheets aswell.

I dont think you should stress. There were days when I did not feel baby move at all. These days I constantly feel him move - as his space is getting limited inside. Even when we were at the gynae, he would have to re-measure or re-position his device because he says the baby moves too much, but then I did not even feel a thing. As long as you feel baby move sometime during the day, I dont think you need to be stressed.

@ Ninies, you are so lucky that you can sew, I am hopeless when it comes to things like that. I had our baby linen made and it cost a pretty penny but looks gorgeous. I bought a baby fitted sheet at Mr Price for R80, wow and the material is so small :(

@ Maj, are you still craving some sweet things? I am still loving my biscuits and dying for cake....ooh jum. I am also still steadily gaining weight and the week previously I gained 1kg and last week 500g. I have picked up 6.6kg so far and it seems like it is all on my legs. Yikes, I have such a issue with my legs and it takes me forever to loose weight there! :swear:
One more question regarding the Hypnobirth you had, did you breath your baby down or did you just give in and push?

@ GRMB, welcome, I am not sure about the lump but if it gets any bigger or gets painful I would ring your Gynae up.

@ Monei, what a pleasure to catch up on ones sleep and relax for a day, you deserve it.

AFM, baby is usually kicking and moving around all all the time but from yesterday her movements have decreased to more than 1/2 her normal movements. I know that just as long as she moves all is fine but have any of you ladies felt that baby's movements have decreased considerably? I am 29 weeks?
