I have done some research, and apparently these can help strengthen uterine muscles, and soften the cervix which helps get your body ready for labor and could help to give you a shorter labor as well. But there are also websites that suggest that the evening primrose oil may not be that safe, so it depends on what you read, but all has to be taken late in pregnancy. Let me know what you ladies think.
When taken during pregnancy, red raspberry leaf is said to aid the mother’s immune system, ease morning sickness and promote better circulation. Taking raspberry leaf is believed to help strengthen uterine muscles and tone the pelvic floor in preparation for childbirth, as well as assist with breastmilk supply.
Using evening primrose oil for cervical dilation is one commonly used herbal method for preparing the body for labor. While evening primrose oil doesn't induce labor per se, when it is taken orally, it is believed to act as a prostaglandin that softens and ripens the cervix. As the cervix ripens, contractions are triggered which may lead to labor, or may simply be Braxton-Hicks contractions. Additionally, the softening of the cervix may help make labor and delivery quicker and easier.
Please do your own research as I do not want to give anybody any bad advice
