@Jaybee I also have that problem, especially with the tea, and I want to drink more tea nowadays!
That is so sweet of your friend!
@ninies that is so sweet of your son. I was also worried about my daughter, but she is so loving, and whenever my daughter talks to the baby, I feel the baby jumps around alot more! if it wasnt for my daughter, I think I would have a lot less stuff. Everytime we walk past a baby section in a store, she makes sure we buy something-a bottle, blanket, babygrow, etc. I have managed to discourage the toys as my daughter has sooo many. She is super excited to put the cot together, and she said she will give her her pram, and even her toys and her books!
I am going to do your "sweeti" jar idea, my daughter asks me every morning if it is May yet!
@sonsbaby, you are lucky to have a midwife SIL.
we also have one of those Moses baskets that have been passed down (and the frill is changed for each new baby). Ours was bought for my aunt who is now 63 yrs old

and her grandson is using it now.
But its in Pietermaritzburg so I will use it when I go to visit my parents once the baby is a month or so.
Google is confusing with info. But docs always advise not to google med stuff. Hubby loves doing that, and ends up thinking that the worst is happening to him!
@sonsbaby regarding the mediclinic bag, please dont do the mistake I did. I did not take the stuff that was listed in the bag, like diapers! When the baby was born, they asked me where's the diapers and I said in the bag you are giving me. The sister said they give the bag after a day or 2 or on discharge or something. It might have just been that medi-clinic but rather not take the chance!
UIF, I havent started thinking about UIF!
