Hey ladies

Quick pop in during my coffee break.
It is so quiet on this thread now :(

Ally you sounds busy as always. Hope the kids are well.

Mandy so happy to hear that Jenna is such a good sleeper and Cam sounds adorable with her.

We had a nice long weekend in the Berg ... was nice to be just 3 of us for a couple days. Got home to a busy but good few days as we had family down from Jhb.
Packing will have to start properly this weekend, we still have only packed 3 boxes so a lot still to do.
Otherwise Shrey is doing well, aside from his sinus issues which have started again. We have a fight every morning to get teeth brushed and to spray his nasal spray :( Still having loads of fun as school. He is still in our room at night but contemplating moving him on his own once we move ... just trying to convince hubby that it's best lol.
Okay got to get back to work. Take care ladies and hope everyone pops in soon to give us an update.

Hi Girls.

Sorry I've been so quiet! I had a 2-week long shoot for the school's fundraiser cook/ideas book. The photo's came out stunning and the book is going to be gorgeous. You can see some of the photo's on FB. Really cute ideas for parties and get togethers with lots of decorating/craft/activity ideas, etc. Going to be great!

Yes Mandy, I have a shoot for Get It magazine this week. It's a local, free Pretoria Mag and this time I'm in front of the camera. Not looking forward to it at all but it has to be done I suppose. :)

The twins are well. They have a bit of a cold at the moment so lots of sniffles and coughs and Aidan is complaining of stomach ache a lot. I NEED to get him to the paed as my GP just keeps repeating the same thing over and over because I'm worried it might be a hernea or something. Other than that they are well. Sleep with us every night which drives us crazy but we're so tired we'd rather sleep with them than fight. I know we're making trouble for us for the future but right now neither C or I have the energy to take them back to their beds all night, especially Aidan. He screams the house down. We just need to invest in a bigger bed! ;)

They're doing really well at school and I hear them speaking Afrikaans more and more. They're bringing it into their everyday vocab which is great. I struggle to speak to them in Afrikaans for some reason. I thought it would be easy but I'm so used to speaking to them in English I find myself swopping over all the time! Crazy!

I wanted to reply to everyone now but the oven is going off so I need to get the next shoot's stuff out! ;) Have a great day ladies! x

Hello lovely ladies!

Missin ya all, but make sure i pop in ever now and then to read up on you!

Ally I see on Blackberry update that you are having a shoot infront of camera this week! WHOO HOO! :) enjoy! just another exciting challenge which is YOUR LIFE!

Vix - from Facebook, you have had an awful run of sick ones and lots of trips to the doc. Sorry hon, and lots of wishes that the sicknesses calm down now. Also very very sad to see that your paed passed away! Such a loss to the world! and also - you seem to be looking for a new challenge - re looking to study and looking for jobs! so much happening in your world! keep in touch!

Lwasi, i love that although you are very far away and we dont see you much here, you still find time to pop through with birthday messages on facebook! HELLO, hope you are AMU are doing well !!

Lisha - HAPPY BIRTHDAY for today! Fill us in on how the drakensburg was for the long week end? Hope you had fun! Sorry your work sounds so hectic and as I said on sms - I promise you, just pack one box a day and I know you probably want to do it all so that you know where everything is, but also get hubby to pack one a day. It is NOT FUN when the time comes and everything gets CHUCKED into boxes!

Julz - how are your teeth?? sorry you are having such a painful time! Keep us updated?

Helen - your trip to the UK will be hard work with the kids ( but nothing you are not used to already) sounds like an absolute dream come true to go and show Oliver and Nina where you are from and to let them meet all the extended family! and as Im sure Oliver is just like Cam, he will find the busses and trains rather exciting!

Nicole - good to hear from you!

Simone - Joshua and Addy are just too cute! Glad you seem to be enjoying both of them so much.. 2nd babies do seem to be a little easier. Perhaps with more experienced moms :) not sure, but wow, the time is flying hey!?? Sorry you had to go cold turkey back to work without Josh. How is that going?

My two are doing well. Jenna is mostly sleeping through the night unless she has got something wrong. She has got a stuffy nose at the mo, and when we ran out of meds for the nebuliser, we woke up every 3 hrs again. but i really cant complain about that!!! its still better than Cam did at this age! Jenna is such a smiley baby. We try to leave her just to play on her own as much as we can, and then when she squeels for attention, we go to her and smile, and her response is the biggest smile in the universe :) too cute. Cameron is being as good as he can. Im sure like most of you, he has an attitude a mile high and we have to be VERY firm with discipline. If we relax for a second, he can get really out of hand! I think 3yr olds just test the boundaries by nature. He is very loving though and keeps talking to his sister as, YOUR BIG BROTHER says this or look at your big brother doing this!! Too cute!

My business venture is going very well but also very hard and lots of pressure to succeed like Ive never felt before. It makes me really tired. We are getting lots of casting requests, but I did think i would place even more people than i have successfully. So far, 3 people were cast in our 3rd week. So we do feel like we are doing well as a start! We are constantly changing the goal posts and upping our game and putting more pressure on ourselves to do better and find a better way. But things feel good and I am mostly enjoying it all! Failure is not an option! So we will keep striving to achieve!!

Okay gals, have a good week!

Pls keep popping in when you can and just give us a long newsy update. Even if people cant comment on everyone else, just let us know your own news :)

Little Jenna Lucy Biart born by C SEC on 21 Dec at 8.05 weighing 3.18 kilos and 50cm long - my healthy happy girl finally in my arms.

Hey ladies

Glad almost everyone is popping in now and then to update :)

Nicole I was going to mail you last week to see how you're doing but never found the time :( Shrey did kick that flu/sinusitus phase but it seemed to be coming back this week. Put him back on Deselex & Avamys since yesterday and it seems to be helping his nose run out.
Sounds like K is doing well. Re the cheekiness I think we're all experiencing it. They are just full of attitude already lol.

Zee hope the kids feel better soon & that you get some answers about Zander's allergies ... can't be fun having 2 sick kiddies.
Hope work is going well and that you aren't stressing as much anymore.

Simone I'm going to politely ignore you too

Julz how is the little man? Glad you're enjoying work and that you're making some progress re dental issues.
Good luck with weight loss. I'm starting to feel my clothes loosen up ever so slightly just by cutting down of take out's and pies

All's well on my side. Work is crazy hectic but passes the day quickly. Actually this week I'm feeling pressurised as I have something due next Tuesday and had to ask for extension. Directors son not being overly accomodating ... the fact that I am now doing 2 peoples work is apparently not obvious to everyone.

Shrey has a bit of sinusitus at the moment, monitoring his ears for infection but he isn't complaining of pain and I make it a point to ask everyday now. Otherwise he is enjoying school still. Full of attitude and does not hesitate to tell us or anyone else off if he doesn't like something. Sunday he woke from his nap to find mil & sil at home and my rude child tells me quiet loudly that he does not want to talk to them ... had to tell him that was rude just to not create issues lol.

Packing is slow. I only managed to pack 3 boxes on Sunday. Biggest mistake was packing all Shrey's baby stuff & things I've bought as baby shower gifts while Shrey was awake. He unpacked both the boxes so that he could play with/in them
We're off for our weekend at Drakensberg on Friday so no packing going to be done this weekend either.

Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend xxx

Hi Ladies

I havent been on for ages, so just wanted to do a quick post.

Julz how did your 80s themed party go?

Simone JOsh is sooo cute and wow addy is a heartbreaker!! G will have to stand at the front door with a shotgun (like in Bad Boys) when boys want to take Addy out lol. Im glad the op went well and the recovery time was quick

Zee sorry to hear both the kids are sick, it cannot be easy!!! K has been suffering badly with allergies. Last Monday we had to rush him to hospital at 22:00 at night because he had a bad croup attack and needed to be neuabilzed with adreline.

Helen i hope all is well on your side. My thoughts and prayers are with your SIL! What a awesome birthday present from Theo and your dad, im sure you must be absolutly thrilled!!

Lisha so exciting about the house. Good Luck with all the packing! Has Shrey flu settled yet?

All is well on this side, also like Julz clamping down on rules with Keiran regarding manners, always packing his plates/cup into the sink when he is done, packing his toys away etc etc. He has become very cheeky and tries to push his luck. Dispipline these days consist of switching off the tv, locking his toy room until he does what he was suppose to do/say sorry etc. Otherwise he is also very sweet, alway saying his loves us, that his heart is happy etc. Doing very well at school and the extra activities. Have to do "homework" with him twice a week lol.

got to run

Have a lovely day ladies.

Hi ladies

Just a quick pop in! How are you? I have been missing you guys but finding time for a chat is so difficult these days. I'm so looking forward to the long weekend but I guess it is going to have to be a working weekend.

Kids are sick again!!! Helen, I now know how it must've felt to you. I'm so fed up with the two of them being sick - taking Zander to the paed this week to check for allergies. Apart from the hectic teething (still no teeth only mega thick gums) he is a happy chappy. Ziani is well - enjoying school and full of antics. She eats like a trooper and I now pack an extra snack as she gets so hunry . The imaginary friends are still with us as well.

Helen, such sad stories. So sorry for your family.
Great news about your UK trip though.

Simone, the kids sound so sweet!

Lisha, how's the packing going? Hope you are going to post some pics of th new house!

Julz, I also need to loose some weight. And the cold weather is not helping. I eat a lot.

Got to go, Z needs to get to bed. Hope to chat some more this weekend. ;)

Julie yes i realised re: runny tummy....we ate at news cafe the weekend and by the time we got to the car my tummy was making THOSE sounds.... its not too bad...but i had gastro on Tuesday, not sure if being gallbladderless aggravates it, but it was the meanest most vulgar gastro I have EVER HAD!!!
