Hi ladies

Hope you are all doing fantastic!

Not much news here, I'm not sleeping that I can tell you! Zander is sick again. Doctor thinks it is due to his sister sharing her creche bugs with him ... He is also teething and man, it is BAAAAAD. Funny how quick one can forget how crap something like teething is ... He is adorable though and inherited his sister's love for being picked up. He is going to be christened in June. Going to ask Vix to make him something so that he can look like a dashing little man on the big day.

Ziani got her first assessment report last week, so cute. Basically said that she adjusted well to school and can now manage conflict (she can start a fight and end it too!) and her balance has also improved. Not that we can see it, she still falls down at least three times a day and recently had that misunderstanding with the play gym at the school (which resulted in a broken front tooth and a bill of R5700). She likes playing with one or two friends and is very helpful in school. This has made me think about ways to get her to do something at home and I now play "school" with her and gets her to clean up while playing. LOl She is so cheeky now but I love her sense of humour!

And that's basically it. I SO CAN'T wait for the long weekend -- it is going to be so nice to just be at home. I need to work on two articles but at least I don't have to face traffic AND the very early hours. Hate leaving home so early in the morning.

Simone, hope you are feeling better after the op, big hugs to you!

Ally, good luck with all the work.

Lisha, enjoy Joburg, laughed at Shrey becoming a vegetarian. Since Z is on Biostrath she is eating like a monster. Really picking up weight fast.

Mandy, good luck with the new venture - holding thumbs for you!

Yoza, I'm so glad that Siba is progressing. I really hope that he continues to surprise you all and that he will just keep on being so remarkable. Good luck! And your Buhle sounds like a real little character!

Aggg, I've got to go. Ziani is now dressed in her fourth set of PJ's for the evening. Need to get her sorted as she is faced with one of the most difficult challenges of the modern world: What to wear, what to wear?

Hi Mandy: yep us relocating is something we are talking about I want the best for the kids and better opportunities. Wow about Cam how about an occupational therapist as well the physio the pysio will only deal with the toning and they dont generally focus on other areas but the occupational therapist will assist holistically. Just a thought. Jenna sounds like an angel and you are enjoying her.

Lisha: Enjoy your holiday in jozi. I was wondering does your hubby still play golf? Shrey preferring veggies well done mummy your doing something right. Sucks with many meeting at work cause it leaves you with so much to catch up on.

AFM: All is good had a bit of a rough night with siba hopefully he will sleep much better. He is doing so well but behaivour were really struggling. Im hoping for a breakthrough but babysteps. He is more responsive when we talk responds to his name the other day he said hello to me he also said daddy. The teachers say he is a fast learner at school never forgets what he is taught which im grateful for my little einsteen. I pray for a breakthrough. My mum has been really supportive and has been my pillar of strenghth not to mention my nanny trully God sent. Her patience is remarkable.

Buhle is a little diva chooses her clothes does a beauty routine when i dress up wants makeup and my perfume. she repeats everything we really have to watch what we say. i laugh how she drags siba to open the doors for her and if lil man refuses to play or do anything she literally slaps him its so sad but that has taught siba to do what her sister wants and play together at times.

Hello gals

Lisha - Shrey sounds like a real character loving his hot breyani and possibly vegetarian! Enjoy being here in JHB :) Welcome! and yes - TOO many meetings sucks, when are you supposed to acheive the goals set in all those meetings!

Yoza - wow New Zealand, that sounds awesome! Glad you liked it, my hubby and i also always talk about the possibility of living in AUS or NZ as a better place to bring up our kids, but its so far from actually happening!

Ally - your book preparations sound sooooo exciting! you must be having a ball, cant wait for september to buy a copy!

Nicole - wow, i didnt realise that you do business plans and help access finance for clients! I would love to see a template for a businessplan if you are willing to send me one to work on! I have started so many and they are all so different that i find myself taking parts of all of them to finish what i think the company needs!

So the company that I am re launching is SNAPDRAGON. It is a casting and promotional staffing company. The couple that own it stopped running it about a year ago but they keep getting emails for briefs etc so they decided to approach me as a potential 50% partner. Basically after I work for 6 months as an employee, driving all elements of the business and growing the business, they will give me the shares if i decide to keep running it in month 7. Since my background is supplying film crew to the production companies who film out there, they would be the same clients so i have loads of relationships to build on. and as you all know I need the change as I have been at my job for 6 years now!

Anyhoo, Im very very motivated and excited to get cracking!

Jenna is being such an angel, last night she only woke up at 04h30 for the first time ! She is 14 weeks and is a happy little thing! she does have a little snotty nose and the cutest little cough, I am a little relieved that she is 3 months to be able to at least give her the calpol at night as she might have a headache or pain that she cant tell me about! but i am just treating it for now with saline solution!

Cameron is very well, sleeping well and a happy chappy at school. His school has changed the routines since the school has new owners this year and it has done wonders for Camerons temprement. I think he was completely over stimulated last year as they had no calming stratergies and the teacher was a little out of control. Now his teacher says he is calm and concentrating and helpful and kind and Im very relieved. It shows that in different enviroments he can be two different boys since he is such an extrovert and feeds off the people around him.

The school has recommended some physiotherapy for cameron saying that he is fidgity and doesnt sit still and they dont think its his temprement but rather low muscle tone! i was so surprised but it does make sense now that its been explained. HE will need about 4 months physio just to get him into a new habit of holding his bodies centre better, and it will help him concentrate more in class and will help him with sports. He has always run a little strangely and we thought it was odd but didnt know why, its like he bends his knees while he runs so it doesnt get him very far and he gets tired quite fast!! anyhoo, we are hoping this will fix it!

okay enough of all this!

Miss all of you and so glad a few of us are popping in just to update all! Keep it up gals, just once a week or so and we will all be able to keep in touch!

Have a good week end all!

Little Jenna Lucy Biart born by C SEC on 21 Dec at 8.05 weighing 3.18 kilos and 50cm long - my healthy happy girl finally in my arms.

Hey ladies

Yoza I hope you had a lovely time in New Zealand. Mil's sister spent 3 months there recently and she also said it was very beautiful. She was a bit lonely being there for 3 months though as her son worked most of the time but she had nothing but good to say about NZ.

Simone and Mandy I hope you're enjoying your last couple days at home. Wishing you both lots of strength on Monday xxx

Ally cupcakes would be so much easier here as well but Shrey has found a pic of a cake that looks like and alien/spaceship and he is insisting on that already lol. I doubt my capabilities on decorating even that simple cake ;)

Shrey is well. Still a nightmare to get him to eat and I think he is heading in the direction of being a vegetarian ... sooo frustrating! He loves vegetable breyani never mind how much his mouth is on fire.
Last night we watched the This Is It (Michael Jackson) and Shrey loved it. Although he was a bit confused as to why a man has long hair

Work is hectic still. Now days we sit in too many meetings and I find that is way more disruptive to the work day but what the bosses want they shall get.
Looking forward to spending the easter weekend in Johannesburg, far away from all the work pressure and packing.

Hi ladies

I was so shocked to see posts here as I haven't been getting any notifications via email so thought I was coming to a ghost town!

Mandy good luck with the new venture my friend...such an exciting phase:)

Ally has the blogging started? I'm not watching masterchef so no idea if its on yet and what the blog is about?? A recap of show?

Its so late...I'll log in on pc and read all the posts itomorrow.

We're good. Josh is 14 weeks old. He is such a sweet happy baby. Took him to paed yesterday and not one moan or cry (like Addy that used to scream head off!). He laughed and coo'd with doc all through examination. Then off for vaccinations...my poor baby laughing with nurse and she jabs him:( he recovered quickly though. Weighs 7kgs now and about 66cm tall. Sleeps through most nights...on a rare nighthe wakes once and we just move him around in cot.

Addison is great...cute, naughty. She now knows address and our home phone number which is cool I think:)

Anyways...almost 12. Let me get to bed.
