Nicole, Woolies approached me to be one of 4 bloggers to generate content for them for the durations of MC SA. We are given the themes and must then create recipes around that theme. Very exciting! :)

Lisha, Aidan is much better, thanks for asking! I think I'm doing cupcakes this year! ;)

Hi ladies

Angelique please pop in and give us an update. I've changed computers so lost your e-mail address. Hope Cole is still being a good boy for you xxx

Mandy a belated happy 3 months to Jenna. Can you believe time has flown so fast?
Congrats on the new venture, it all sounds so exciting.

Julz hope you had a wonderful birthday. I went through your fb pics briefly yesterday and it looks like you guys had a blast.
Hope Dylan is fully recovered now. Shrey's also learning to dress himself now, okay he's insisting on dressing himself and it takes forever as he ensures his underpants are put on perfectly etc lol. Trying to convince him to let us put his lotion on cos he is plastering it on hehehe.

Ally things sound hectic as usual with you, sounds exciting. Is Aidan all better now? We're also feeling the strain of the medical bills now :( Savings is down drastically!
Shrey is also starting to talk about his party, he wants a spaceship cake this year and apparently I must make it again ... don't think I'm going to be that adventurous again lol.

Nicole so glad you're feeling better after stopping the injection. Your international dinners sound amazingly creative. Think I'm going to suggest that idea to my mom & hubby.

AFM things are mostly well here. That headache I had last week was mostly from a viral infection and an ear infection. Antibiotics helped but my ear still isn't 100%, probably cos my sinuses are still so stuffed.
Shrey is well and on holiday for the next 2 weeks. Hope he still wants to go to school after easter. He's got 3 really close friends at school and this last week he's started talking about 2 girls as well :)

I'm spending most of the weekends now getting rid of the rubbish at home so that when it's time to pack I only have to deal with what we need to take with. Lots to do now so need to start doing some on weekends as well.
The 1st offer on the place we saw last week has fallen through so we were advised yesterday that our offer now kicks in. Submitted our bond application this morning and hoping for the best. Not telling family and friends till everything is approved.

Hi ladies

Julz nice to hear from you again. Shame why is Neil working such long hours?? Is it a project deadline? How did your party go (read about it on your blog) it sounded like tons of fun! How did you dress?

Ally wow it sounds like you are super busy, but its your passion so its worthwhile!!! If you dont mind me asking what is the WW Masterchef project about? I cant belive your book will be coming out soon...so exciting. DH and I have decided on this fun thing to do on a sat night which is we have choosen 20 different countries and which ever country the person chose has to prepare a meal from there. I drew mexico for this upcoming sat so i am reverting to your blog for the nachoes receipe and then doing some quesidilles (SP)! When/If India comes my way will definatly be making use of your blog for support lol.

Mandy good luck with your new venture. Are you guys looking at accessing finance for the Business hence the Business Plan? ( i do Business Plans/Trying to access finance for clients through development funds and banks as a living). Good Luck!!!

afm, all is well here. I went off the injection and wow what a difference, i have lost weight, dont feel bloated constantly, my skin and moods have improved etc. Now need to make time for a visit to the gyne for a way forward as yasmina and yaz caused me to have severe headaches and i dont want to go through that again,

K is doing well and has progessed with his puzzles etc. He loves school and is really a sporty child, every eve we have to play soccer/volly ball etc.

We went to the farm (again) yesterday and played water wars there and K did some kids target shooting - tons of fun. Im thinking of having his party there! you see Ally you not alone lol, im already thinking of have a tractor/farm themed party because he is loving tractors etc these days.

okay ladies got to run, hope you have a wonderful week ahead.

Hi Girls.

Juls, you've just made my day! :) Of course I'll sign copies for you. We're starting to talk about the publicity tour now and trying to get some sponsors in CT so I'm pretty sure I'll be there in September. We must organise a little meet (even if it as the hotel I'm staying at which I HOPE is the O&O).

Mandy, Congrats with your new venture! And glad you're enjoying Jenna so much! :)

Lisha, the twins have also been sick all the time. Nothing serious since their tonsilitis thank goodness but last week Aidan developed this horrible croup-like cough. Got him some meds prescribed by a dr friend of mine because I can't afford to go to the dr again! She just phoned the prescription through! Thank Heavens for friends!

Zee, congrats on the promotion! What is your title now?

Nicole, all marriages have that. I can't tell you how often C and I bicker but thinking about it now, we've been quite good for the last few months. After our MASSIVE fight at the beginning of the year we've been quite lovey-dovey. He still irritates me at times though! ;) I always thing of that movie, Bride Wars, where the husband lies sleeping next to his wife and she says "You're irritating me!". I feel like that so often. Poor C is not doing anything but I just want to punch him lol.

Anyway, we're all doing well. Feel like I'm drowning under deadlines. Contributed towards a friend's cookbook so we did the shoot last week and then the whole Woolies Masterchef thing is so hectic. Our deadlines are quite harsh and the standard of our work needs to be top class, as you would expect from WW. But I can't complain. It's a dream to be associated with them so I do it all with a smile.

The twins are already asking for their birthday party after all the parties at school. I have a theme (I know, I'm crazy) and I want to get a lot of it done ASAP because with the book publicity in September and starting my second book soon I'm not going to have a lot of time... already tired just thinking about it. I so wish we could go away but C wants us to work hard this year so we can buy a house next year. I just want to sleep. *yawn*

Will chat soon again!

xxx

Helen lol about your diva daughter. Always wanted boys as I though they would be easier. As for Oliver's speech, not a bad idea to get an assessment and take it from there. The earier they find the problem the less difficult it is to correct.

Lisha wow you must be super busy by now. Congrats on getting a buyer. Hope you find something you like soon!

Simone read that you are having an op. I had mine removed the month before I fell pregnant. The op is fine if it is a lap op and recovery is quick, but I am battling now with a problem 17% of us gallbladderless people suffer from which is loose stools and bad. It attacks when ever it feels like it so now I have to take cholesterol meds to control it. Not nice. Nothing you can do though.

Mandy congrats on your new venture. I am sure it is going to be a success!

Nicole hope you are well.

Nelria, how did the start of your new job go?

CT ladies did we set a date or not. Can't remember.

Zee more work.

How do you ladies manage work and two kids?????

AFM Neil is working non stop putting in 80 hour weeks (working alot at home). I think it has been for 3 months by now so it's like loosing your partner for a while.

I am flat out busy at work but enjoying putting all the new systems into place and sorting out the BOM's and manufacturinge modules on Pastel. Annoying too. Remember why I dislike Pastel now.

My boss was really awesome. He organised wine from a friend for me for my party and then gave me half of it as a birthday present. Now that is a boss ladies!

Dylan was ill last week so he spend the morning at work with me on Friday as I work till 2 on a friday and he was really good. Boss has no issues me bringing him to work. He clearly hasn't met Dylan yet. He is super cute right now but cries when he doesn't get his own way. We are clamping down now though and he now packs his toys away and dresses himself at night for a reward on a Saturday morning. Some cheap toy from China town hanging on his door seems to be working. This month anyway.

Always in the walls still but having fun at school. There are three of them in a little gand the teachers call ADT. Amy Dylan and Tristan. They are best of buds and luckily us moms are really close too so Dylan might not have siblings, but friends he has no shortage of.

I guess that is all.

I will keep reading the emails.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

hello gals Long time!!

Miss you guys!

So Jenna is 3 months tomorrow, which means Joshua is 3 months today :) time really does fly!

Zee congrats on the promotion, you really really are a hard worker!!

Lisha - what happened with your latest offer? Well done on selling your house! Hope shrey is still well? Well done on finishing Shreys scrap book! Im about to start Jennas! I have been collecting all the stuff I want to add, quite excited, as my sister made Camerons :)

Nicole, K sounds so cute with his tractor phase, how was the farm visit?

Zee our 5 year marriage annivesary is on thursday :) dont think we are doing anything but I will buy Marc a card and cook him a nice dinner...

Jenna is sleeping a bit better lately, she usually has a 5 - 7 hour first sleep and then some nights its 3 or 4 hrs after that, but every 3rd night or so, its hourly to 2hrly after 2am.. she is a much better night sleeper than Cameron, so Im not complaining. Also I know it gets so much worse when I have to go back to work. For now because of a fulltime maid, I get to sleep every 2nd or 3rd day for 2 hrs or so, so I am coping well. Much better than first time around..

Cameron is mostly doing well, we tried unsuccessfully for 2 weeks to get him out of his night nappy and he was just so tired as a result and started weeing during the day again as it became a bit of an issue for him so we stopped again and will try later another time.

My other news is that I resigned :) I am going to start a partnership with a friend of mine in the casting and promotions business :) not sure if I am starting officially in April or May, but i feel I am ready to start again, its just that we need to tie up all the contractual loose ends between ourselves and agree on the business plan...

aww well gals, run out of time to chat! must be off, going to the moomie picnic that super VIx has organised so will report back ! lotsssaaaa love to all of you!!

Little Jenna Lucy Biart born by C SEC on 21 Dec at 8.05 weighing 3.18 kilos and 50cm long - my healthy happy girl finally in my arms.

Hey ladies

Hope you're all well.

Angelique how are things with the family? How's your brother feeling?

Nicole hope you got to take K out to the farm this weekend. His new obsession sounds adorable.

Zee gosh your life sounds hectic at the moment. I feel your pain with the exorbitant medical costs. Shrey has brought our savings down to R3300 now. 2 more illnesses and it should be zero at the rate his paed charges.

AFM I've been awful all weekend. Have a headache since Saturday and it got really bad yesterday. Still in pain so going to the gp at 3. Not sure if this is what migrane attacks feel like but it's horrible.

Shrey has started this week of well. I pray that this last week before they close he can remain healthy but I won't hold my breath lol. He's been sick almost every week since he started school so ........

We still haven't found a new house for us to buy so feeling a bit stressed about that at the moment as it may mean 2 moves. We did see something we loved but our offer is the 2nd one so not feeling too hopeful at the moment.

Anyway hope all the baba's are well and being good xxx
