Jeanine - Emily also starts immediately screaming if we close the security gate that blocks off the staircase, guest toilet and garage entrance!!

Hi Ladies

hehe suddenly I don't feel too bad anymore - was just beginning to worry that Willem is a bit behind

He babbles quite a bit to himself, and has a few sounds that he makes, but the only clear word I've heard is mama - usually screamed at 3am when he wants his boobies (come tooth, COME!)

He lifts his hands up in the air of you say hooray, and sometimes he will clap when you clap.

MIL has two budgies in a cage, and when you ask him where's the birdies, he will look straight at it (even the one day there WEREN'T there - no, I wasn't the cruel one, telling him to look for missing pets)

Willem LOVES making the wa-wa-wa sound with his hands, or anybody elses that comes even remotely close to his mouth. I blame DH. Whenever Willem used to cry (from a few weeks old!), he would pat W's mouth, making wa-wa. I felt like kicking him, for making fun of my baba's crying, he thought it was hilarious.

Still doing good on the cruising side, walking all along the furniture, and starting to strecth to cross the gaps. But no standing alone yet, and no steps. He will stand against something, leaning with his body while having both hands free though.

Oh, and we took the playpen apart, and we're now using two of the panels to block the lounge from the kitchen. We use the one as a 'sliding gate' between the table and couch. Clever mister has figured out if he stands against it and PUSH, it will move enough for him to fit through!
If you leave it open he will make a beeline for it, and just dare close it when he is looking - INSTANT tears, even if he was playing happily just seconds before.

Robyn - I looked at the milestones chart the other day and majority of babies at this age are only saying mama and dada at this age.

Babyzee - I've heard that S26 and Infacare is quite similar

Wow Babyzee and Kerry on the "almost" walking - that is super. I don't think Emily is going to walk for a while yet, she is a bit lazy in that department She crawled quite early but she was one of the last baba's here to turn herself from back to tummy and tummy to back, so she might be the same with walking because she seems very lazy. Doesn't like to much physical activity - like her mommy

BabyK's mom - Emily can put her dummy in by herself, but refuses to do it at night - stubborn little girl. YAY for no more dummy runs for you!

Hi Ladies

D seems to be behind with talking - she can say Dadadada, but that's all

She can clap hands when you do so and she loves blowing raspberries (does that when you blow her a kiss)
She can also click her tongue (like she's sucking her tooth)

I think she's going to be a slow talker as she is very quite and introverted

B2B Congrats may you have a quick and easy 8 months.

DH is happy and done with two, it was always my plan as well but the day i gave birth to Fayaz i felt there i one more to come, if it does happen it will only be two years from now, i get so exhausted with two i cannot imagine more.

Wow Charnenay Emily is one clever little girl we should have a play date maybe she could teach Fayaz a thing or two

So far he waves and blows kisses, he also plays pick a boo, he points when he wants something and the best part he is now taking steps he has been taking steps as soon as he realizes then he holds onto something he should be walking by end of the week, i will let you know

Ladies the is no S26 anywhere, i don't know what formula to put Fayaz on i have looked everywhere they say a new company has now bought the brand and they are not sure when they will be back on the shelf anyone else use S26?

He will be 1 soon and i can put him on cows milk, can you believe we only have one more month where did the time go?

WOW your little one is smart

K can clap when shown and wave and point, she knows mama and dada... and will crawl or cruize along furniture to get to us if we call or she has a boo boo...

She can also just about walk on her own... i give it a week or two and we will be there...

she also plays peek a boo with her linus blanket in the car every day... she puts it over her head, waits for you to ask wheres Kaelyb and then pulls it dowm and laughs

but as for doing things when asked.... thats a little too much

babyK - oh wow! you need to come teack K to put in her own dummy - pretty please? I will give J some crawling training in return...
