M2M - Oops, sorry i clean forgot... i will have to put the new bedding on still, will make a plan.

Yes K went through the teary hungry nights... right around 9 months, when i took her to the paed for her checkup i spoke to the paed and she checked everything, just to make sure and made a few suggestions.The paed did however say its just comfort feeding and i should stop immediately if i ever wanted K to stop. So i sort of compromised, i decided i would dummy her two or three times and then only feed. and just when i gave up all hope of it getting better she started sleeping again.

Cols - Glad to hear you had a good time, umm the onlt thing that really helps car sickness is being able to see out the front windscreen, so maybe a forward facing car seat?

So this weekend K took her first two unassisted steps... with much coaxing and tapping on her feet... but she did it... twice YAAAAYYY!!!!

You are describing Evan. 2 am bottles again He is having 4 x 210 ml bottles again. Plus his food etc. The last 2 nights he has woken up screaming and will not settle. Dunno whats going on...

We went away this weekend. The 1st place we went to did not live up to it's website. Ugh... We went to Giants castle the next day - very scenic route but it was lovely. Spent the afternoon walking around and did a short "hike" by the river this morning. It really was well priced - R 450 pp self catering for a mountain view chalet with a fireplace. Lovely

Does anyone have tips for LO's car sickness. Evan got car sick yesterday. I am exactly the same. I was feeling naar and then Evan started chucking... so I think he has my curse...

well ja my boytjie was sick, is out of hospital (three week alread) but still sick. had him at the pead earlier this week. he said Liam's gona take a while to get better...at least another month or so...due to all the virusses he had.

and with that being said, the poor lil man still did not get his 9 months shots cos of being sick the whole time...think i'm taking him this week coming.

and he has 9 toofies and walk short distances (2m max) and can stand very well on his own...will take a pic

and he is so clingy at the momement - just wants his mommy nobody else. and he loves playin with his brother, such good friends already. but only when jadon monster wants to play with his brother...

girly i still have some of K's toys (2 lil books and 2 stackcups). will come round a drop it when i have time. how is K at new daymom?? her routine?

ladies tell me are your lil babas also very teary during the night? liam usually sleeps very well, but recently he wakes up CRYING (yelling) and i struggleto calm him???? and he is just hungry all the time!

Morning Ladies,

<yawn> yet another morning with the 'alarm' going off at 3am. Luckily DH managed to get him back to sleep around 5am, so I crawled back into bed for a last hour of sleep.

Wondering if he does have a bit of a stomach bug - everybody else in the family seems to have had it in the last week .
Although he has ALL the signs of teething as well I can actually see the bumps in his gums at the top!

Kerry, hehe, that sounds exacltly tike - well every morning in our bed. Willem wakes up anywhere between 3-5am (and with no dummy, he wants mommy) - so after his milk, he is wide awake! My headboard has a shelve behind the bed - I've given up on keeping anything except toys on there by now - it's Willem's favourite play area. MIL has the exact same headboard, and he does the same by them
Let us know how it goes by the creche , and enjoy your extra time every day . I had the opposite - with MIL moving further away (altough still on my route to work), I have to leave 20mins earlier! Although, if I can manage 30 mins, I get to relax and have a cup of tea there first

I've heard somebody say once: the best 'toys' for babies, is anything that's NOT a toy!
Willem will play with anything he can get his hands on, except all his toys all over the lounge floor. We still haven't found our DVD remote.... been missing for 3 weeks now

Sher - Shame hun, hope things calm down at work soon Wouldn't want you to become annorexic! hehe - good luck with the 'no'. there was a time when Willem would burst into tears whenever we said it! nowadays he stops what he is doing, looks at us, gets an evil grin, and goes right back to what he was doing! He thinks its an game! and DH giggling along with him is not helping either!!

on weekends Kaelyn also gets up between 5&6 in the morning and we too bring her to our bed for the same sort of playing... She climbs the headboard... terrorizez the poor dog, pulls mommys hair, sticks fingers in daddys nose and ears... etc

Then daddy gets up with her at about 7 and lets me lie in till 8.

She can also put her dummy in her mouth in fact at night i give her little cubes of food and she puts them in her own mouth. But at night when she is sleeping its clearly easier to call mommy than find her own dummy... thats what mommys there for after all!

Pink - we seem to get two days of good child and then go through a rough patch again... i wish the darn tooth would decide if it coming or going now and give the poor little munchkin a break. (and i wouldnt mind a few good nights in a row myself)

Cols - no creche starts on the first of July (MIL is going to ceres for the school holidays). I sooo cant wait! We can leave 20 minutes later in the morning and will be home so much earlier. As for where we find time for ourselves, i dunno, occasionaly we send K to my parents on friday and have that to ourselves... last week they had her for the whole night, it was pure bliss! I went to woolies and got some microwave meals and a malva pudding and we had a real good night. (We even played some playstation)

i am so so tired. I am going to be annorexic in 2 months, i am a busy body in general, but hey since taking on new projects, i run up and down and to other office parks and back and again and again and do my work admin and does not stop.

K is such a clever girl, she is gonna be walking nicely now on her own. blows bubbles, been clapping her hands for few months now, loves to kiss, i go, give mom a kissy, and she opens her mouth and waits. loves to dance, we went to monte two weeks back. there was a guy who played the guitar, and she normally dances for a long time but that night crawled to the guy in front of everyone and looked up at him and listened and then started rockin back and forth side to side and danced. month back I actually took a video of her in her cot, DH had K ipod on in her room and she stood in her cot and danced to the music, David Gray .... far too active this child of mine

its so nice now for few months, to just leave her on the floor, cot and give her, her bottle and she holds it and drinks and then tosses it aside when done. i do other things then

still saying only 5 words, when in the mornings we bring her to our bed, she is up early like 5/6am. on weekends we bring her to play in between us. she holds the headboard and yanks it, where she gets the strength, is beyond me. then she lets go and jumps on the bed, bouncing and then she holds my face and puts her face onto mine, then pulls her my hair, she is been doing that for months, any of your ones doing that ...yikes she pulls hard and my word that hurts. then she packs up laughing and I tell NO Kiara, stop that, she just laughs even more, I have been using the NO word since she was like 2 months and to this day, she just laughs it off. i will carry on to use it, she will understand soon that its not a funny word...

its really cute though when she laughs, its like she knows what she is doing is naughty. i try to keep a serious face when i actually want to laugh.

anyway .... I know I am missing other things she is doing, but for months now too, she finds her dummy anywhere and puts it in her mouth, could be the upward side down but she gets it in..that is not a problem with K.
