When is this teething thing gonna stop?!?!?!?!

Seems we have angels for 1 week then little dragons the next, only for them to turn into angels again just as we are about to sell them!

I'm am starting to experience what some of you were saying about your LO's being BUSY! Haibo! Iz is a terror! I went to put her cereal bowl in the kitchen and when I got back she took my ENTIRE nebuliser apart!!!!!!!!! WTH???????? Everything she could take off she did! Then I put her in front of the bathroom for me to take a quick bath, but madam had other plans, while washing my face she got hold of the toilet paper and rolled it off, then started eating it with mmmmmmm sounds!

While driving Iz decided she is going to play a game throwing her dummy at me. So I pick it up and give it back, but after the 2nd time I catch onto this and reprimand her in a stern voice and face. Only for her to yell back at me! So I decided not to back down and reprimand her again.......we kinda yelled at each other back and forth 4 times !

Oh and we figured out how to throw a stinker of a tantrum!!!!!! Grace tried to pick her up from the floor, Iz arched her back screaming and sommer kicking! This happened twice!

WHOOHOOOOOO!!!!!! School holiday peeps!!!!! 3 weeks of bliss! Well almost! Saturday Abby is dancing in Durban urgh! Sunday is Abby's birthday, my precious baby girl is 13! Monday is her birthday party, we are going to Cape Vidal for the day, picking up a load of friend in the bus and going to have some fun in the sun for the day....we mos don't have winter. Wednesday we driving to the Drakensberg to drop Grace off for the camp and Saturday we going to fetch her again and then..........REST!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it just amazing how some babies are just more advanced at some levels than others? Emily is way more advanced on some levels. Iz's vocab is growing daily, but she is only starting to climb up against things now. Whereas some of you guys' bubs are almost walking already!

Anyhoo let me go try get some sleep again. I'm battling with my chest after some flu, and the asthma meds keep me awake.

Sonay, I hope you are all on the mend and feeling much better? I am sure your DH didnt mind. You still made the effort for breakfast and his pressie...

Charn, Emily is so GOOD! Wow, Evan doesnt do anything on comand. Everything is bribery - even crawling. He is so cute though and when he does do something it is so nice Always a surprise. This afternoon when i fetched him from school he was making kisses for his friends while I was holding him

Yup, we are off tomorrow after my exam. I need to leave JHB for a few days. July and August are going to be too busy...

BabyZ, my SIL had the same issue. Apparently Infacare is identical. Just different branding. The company was having issues with the licencing to produce under the S26 name. I have seen some of it at checkers and clicks where I am... SIL is using infacare now and is happy with it.

Robyn, Evan loves blowing rassys too sooo cute. He thinks it's hillarious

Evan puts his dummy in by himself and has started doing it at night too. For a few nights he cried out. I'd get to his room search high and low for the dummy. He's already got it back in his mouth and sucking away merrily. Now I wait.

Jeanine, That is so cute! Haha, DH teasing him so early! I must admit I did that once or twice myself.

They are getting so clever now. Evan plays a game with his teachers at school. He crawls under the cots. When they come looking for him he starts to giggle!

PM, I hope everything went well? Silly of the teacher not to put the water out?? Evan is too, I left him in our bedroom this morning when I went to get his bottle. I came back and he was in the bathroom looking for DH (in the shower). Then I had him in the kitchen the next thing he was halfway accros the entrance hall headed for the lounge!

Evan has started saying BA when he sees the dogs Does lots of incoherent babbling and DAdada ALOT

Jeanine, how is Willem? 2 of the babies at Evan's school had runny tummies for 2 days. Think they had a bug

BabyZ, what about putting a little gripe water on the dummy or rather giving him water or tea? Maybe even some Prodol of it's teeth?

Evan apparently woke up after only 30min @ school today and screamed until they put tjel on his gums.. Then he was all bliss but wouldnt sleep. He ate fine and had his bottle tonight. Will send the prodol to school again. Teacher thinks he's teething. I cannot see a thing...

Thanks KerryA i will give it a shot, since he dosent take the dummy he only takes the bottle and eventually he throws up from too much milk.

JeanineK its sounds like teething shame poor baba's give them lots of hugs and cuddles.

Oh dear Janine... sounds like Kaelyn... she didn't do the throwing up, but the early mornings and the runny nappes oh yes and how! The GP said i should give Her Reuteri drops till the teething is over... and i must be honest they did help immensely!

BabyZee, Kaelyn also has days she refuses the dummy but when night time comes she takes it easily enough. Maybe try put the dummy in a bowl of water in the fridge and give it to him when its cold... perhaps that will then sooth the gums?

BAbyZee, since the first tooth came out, Willem also flat out refuses his dummy. he actually fights you if you even bring it near him.
However, still happy with his boobies , and its been more than 2 months.
Only problem is now if he wakes up anytime during the night, its boobie time, not dummy run

Willem seems to either have a bit of a stomach bug, or he's teething
He has been very niggly lately, Sunday he threw up his entire yogurt - over my lounge carpet...
Yesterday morning started screaming at 4am - as in arching his back SCREAMING - until the prodol came out...
And then proceded to have 5 runny nappies - in 1 day.

Lets hope they come SOON. The GOOD morning nowadays is when he only wakes up at 5am.

Since he started teething Fayaz has completely gone off the dummy, anyone else had this.

Its now two week he refuses the dummy and now the boobie i was hoping to atleast give him until 1 yr.

Also Mommy2monster's little one was waaay advanced.. and sick last we heard, anyone heard if he is better? Girly?
