how was your weekend?? I hope you all had a lovely fathers day.

PM, I really hope Iz gets better ! Have you got any nose drops you can use to try drain the snot out her sinuses? Illiadin / Flixonaise? Sorry DH is still being called out so much I really hope it calms down now! I hope Abby is able to dance ok on Wednesday? Is there anything they can do for her to help her through the exam?

I made Barry breakfast and bought him a nice bottle of whiskey.

Evan still has a bad cough so Barry was up with him from 4am on Sunday morning... What a hunni.

I took Evan to the dr and they said that because the cold is not going away he needs antibiotics and a cortizone for his throat. Ugh! He had a terrible coughing fit from 2 - 4am (intermittantly). So i was broken this am.

He was so full of beans today so who knows. He woke up at 6:30 and I let him play in his cot while I lay in. He is getting faster with his crawling every day now. But only when he sees something he wants...

Did any of you notice an increase in separation anxiety when LO learnt to crawl? I find he gets really upset when I leave the room now - if he's alone.

He is alternating letting go of my finger when he's standing now. And then he gets brave for a few seconds and lets go and then quickly grabs hold of me again

When I took him to school he started giggling and "chasing" his one friend around the class. It was really cute!

I have stopped the pill. Only a month away I guess. I just didnt get round to taking it, so this AM i thought either I start it from the beginning or I just leave it...

Pinkmommy - at least it is school holidays soon! Hope IZ and Abby are better by then so you can at least get some rest.

Charnenay - Hope it wasnt too bad without DH?

BabyK - so glad to hear you had an awesome birthday! and you got the whole bakkie story sorted out too!

Not even thinking of TTC yet, i know if we want a two year gap then the time to start is around the corner, but there is just no way we could afford a second at the moment

Hope you had a wonderfull weekend.

DH got called out so many times I kinda lost count .

So Iz is back to square 1 with the blocked nose again! Urgh!!!! No sleep for mommy or nunu. She starting to get increasingly niggly and touching her ears. Kinda looks like we heading for ear infection again.

Grace is also sicky's. Abby's foot is not looking up, but just has to dance on Wednesday as the examiner is flying down only for 2 days!

1 week of school left! Hooray!!!!!!! Rest oh glorious rest....ok, first driving to the drakensberg x2. Then rest.

How was your Fathers days? We bought daddy a new Watch, which he absolutely loved! The girls spent half the day with their dad, and when they came back we went out for lunch. Afterwards we did the parentals. Unfortunately DH got called out twice yesterday.

BabyK, That is fantastic I am so glad you had a great time! There are 2 jungle gyms close together. 1 is for the bigger kids and 1 the smaller. There are extra seasaws, slides etc. Theres plent of space around them.

Robyn - beautiful pics, the collage is a great idea!!! We had a photoshoot with RM last week, really looking forward to seeing those pics - hopefully seeing them on Monday - YAY!

BabyK - we are the other way around - DH wants another child and I am saying: "Hell no!"

DH working this weekend - I am not looking forward to it - Emily is always soooo clingy when we are home alone, I think she is afraid that I am going to go off to work and leave her alone
I am hoping for rain on Sunday so that dh can leave work early.

B2B Congrats! that is super news. My friends had a baby this morning and the age gap between their boys is also 19 months, seems like yesterday she told me she as preggies, it will go so fast for you I'm sure.

Had a super birthday today and a lovely day yesterday, the show was superb, Cito from Wonderboom played Jesus and he was spectacular. Dinner was so cool too, had quite a bit to drink, had to take 2 panado this morning at 5am
Johnny was brilliant - just like Emily Charne, seemed to have a ball at my folks and didn't really miss us. Slept through and didn't give them any hassles. Yay, so nice to know we can do this and have a break every now and then. Had some super good quality time with DH.
Yesterday we fetched his 'new' bakkie too so now the whole car fiasco is over, such a relief I tell you.

Off to Delta Park tomorrow for a picnic with all my friends, looking so forward to it. Is there more than one jungle gym area? We are going to go in the main entrance and sit close to the nearest jungle gyms by the entrance.

Anybody see the eclipse the other night? Was super cool. We went outside with our cats each time, they were excited they were getting special attention without the baby being around, shame man.

I'm a bit sad but we are still only going to have John, we will re-look the situation in a few years but DH is adamant, he wants to be able to give John the best we can and not have to split it. Maybe I can soften him up to the idea when J is older and he has forgotten the stress of the early days
