Aaaaww so beautiful! Don't you just love it when they fall asleep on your shoulder?

Last night we went to MIL's for supper (its a weekly thing but normally thursday night)

anyways supper ran a little late and we were watching the end of something on the tv and ahd got niggly as her bed and bath time passed, but we wanted to see the end of the darn gameshow so MIL was playing with her and distracting her

The end result when we got home eventually was that K was sooo very overtired she didn't want to sleep. Usually we just pop her in her crib after her bath put the bottle in her mouth and stand and hold it till shes done, when you take it out she rolls over and its off to dreamland. Last night i sat in the rocking chair and rocked her off to sleep as she couldnt seem to self sooth herself. I am glad i don't have to do it every night so that when i do have to do it i can enjoy it that much more!

Willem seems completely over his measles. Only, he still isn't back into his usual routine - seems to think 1am is dummy run, and 3am is feeding time. SO miss the 8pm-5am solid sleep...
I'll even take Kaylee's 10-6:30 right now...

Kerry - just had to share Willem's shopping trolley experience - this was over christmas, took him to the mall, and forgot to take the pram. Poor baba fell asleep on my shoulder...

Morning all!

Geez, what a night! Our dog went hooligan the entire night, and Iz was tossing and turning non-stop. We went to drop off Sponsorship letters at FIL over Iz's bath and feeding time, so by the time we got home and she was bathed, she was too tired to eat, hence the 3 bottles during the night!

Cols, yeah, for the new Paed! Now your little man can get better. Hope the old paed gets a pain in his butt for not catching the tonsilitis.

The preparations for the SA's is going great....I think...we did the t-shirt fittings for the KZN team shirts. They have to get KZN t-shirts and tracksuits for when they represents the province. Opening ceremony etc. Tog bags are ordered and being embroyded. Clothing fitted and all shoes ordered. For ballet competitions you have to compete in brand new satins every time. Slowly we're getting there, and money is flowing like water . The girls are working very hard, as they are also training for their senior modern exam which is the 1st week in June. 3 weeks till we hit the road! EEEEkkkkk

I'm on my way to another torture session, which I'll most propably sleep through, I'm just sooo tired!

The boys definately seem to be growing faster than the little girls!

Eileen, why the name change? was it interfering with someone elses?

Cols - It sounds like the new Paed has things under control now sooo glad to hear Evan is feeling better, there is nothing worse than a sick baby!

JeanineK – Oh poor baby  I hope Willem’s measles are clearing up and you’re getting some sleep??

Eileen – How’s the food journal going? I hope she hasn’t been getting more cramps? How’re the preps for SA Champs going? It took me so long to get my hair long. Now I wont cut it, it does drive me nuts sometimes though. I sometimes wake up feeling like I’m strangling myself with my hair I bundle it up over my head when I’m sleeping. Its so nice you got to have a special time out with your girls  and YAY on the crawling attempt.

M2M – Good luck with the OP! I hope it goes well and you have a speedy recovery…

Girly – I’m glad you’re able to put off the studies. You have SO much on your plate and it’s so hard coping with everything else you are already achieving… How’s K’s sleeping going and her proteins? Is she taking them ok?

Robyn-C – OMW was telling DH about “grudge baby”. He cant believe it, he thought it was so funny!!! Dakota is such a petit little princess!! Evan is filling out his 6 – 12 month clothes. He’s 8.4kg and 71cm long.

BabyK – I really hope John’s cold clears up ASAP.

NikkiP – Yay on the Peyton’s teeth and mobility! So cool!

My update – I took Evan to another paed on Monday because he still isn’t eating well, I only got 2 ½ hrs sleep Sunday night because he was crying and moaning the whole night. So turns out he has full blown tonsillitis and an ear infection in both ears! How did his regular paed not pick any of this up?!?! The dr wanted to show me Evan’s throat because she couldn’t believe how bad his tonsils were! She did the TIMP test and it barely registered. The last time he had a TIMP test it was perfect… He had also lost 400grams!

He is on antibiotics (again). I also need to give him rehydrate in his water if he continues to refuse milk to keep his hydration levels up. He was so much happier today, laughing and chatting and just being gorgeous when I picked him up this afternoon… He also had 3 ½ bottles today vs his 1 – 1 ½ bottles he’s been doing lately. He is eating his veggies at lunch, he still wont take his veggies at night.

The dr did say he is going to be crawling soon, but lets see. Still no teeth but he loves rubbing things on his gums, all his toys, his blanket and his dummy. Also still the king of drool…

I hope that things go better now that I have a him at a new paed…

babyksmom - even if he cant sit 100% all on his own the basket is too small for him to fall over in...

Sorry about the tummy bug - at least they usually only last 24-48 hours so hang in there! But good on you to see the doctor just in case!
