Congrats on the toofies Kaylee!

Hey Kerry, clever idea, I haven't been able to put J in the shopping basket yet because he wasn't sitting properly but now he is much better at sitting so I'll try it next time. Its such a pain otherwise, shopping with the pram...

So John has a tummy bug! I don't know if the cold is related to it or just incidental. We are off to the doc later today. He was so niggly and unhappy yesterday afternoon after his mammoth nap, I didn't know what was wrong. I took him to his room for some quiet time and needed to change his nappy and then OH MY WORD! He vomited and vomited and vomited, I think his whole tummy contents, poor little bean. So I called the paed but they couldn't take me, he was too busy and running really late. His receptionist told me to give J rehidrates and if he keeps it down then we don't have to take him in to hospital to go on a drip. Luckily he kept it down, just lots of poos but no vomit since yesterday. I gave him a bit of milk and cereal in his bottle earlier because he is so hungry but it all came out soon afterwards in his nappy.
I was so worried yesterday, after the great vomit of 2011, I put him on my bed while I cleaned up, then when I went back to him he had fallen fast asleep but was sleeping so soundly I couldn't see him breathing. I shook him and he opened half an eye and then went back to sleep. Shoo, I was so happy.
He is much better today but we are still going to the doc.

Nikki wow sounds like you got your hands full with Peyton crawling so much!!!
You can try mix the spinach with a sauce or with grated cheese, apparently thats quite nice. Kaylee doesnt like anything if its not pureed. It gets stuck on her tongue and she gags. So think we'll be pureeing for a while still.

BabyK's mom how is John doing? I think antihistamines work well for colds, so maybe you can just call ur paed instead of going to see him?

Im so lazy today, and tired. Was meant to visit a friend but K's not been too happy this morning, and only just gone down for a nap after being awake 3,5 hrs.
Hopefully its a nice long nap, thinking of joining her.
This afternoon I have to drive to somerset west for hubby to pick up his bike. Tomorrow I have to meet with a prospective employer, someone I know from the industry, think I mentioned it before. And Thursday is UIF offices to sign for my payment, and Friday is the cardiologist check up, so quite a busy week ahead.
Also got to sort through filing etc, catch up with washing bleh and look for work. But so wish I could just sleep all day.

I hurt my hand yesterday, think while typing an email So sore.

I am such a sweetaholic. I am constantly craving something sweet even 5 minutes after having something. I can easily finish a whole packet of biscuits on my own. Wish I could overcome this addiction, I still havent lost any weight since my initial loss after the birth.

Sorry to read about all the sick babies Hopefully everyone is better soon and that the mommies get some rest as well.

Peyton now has 1 x toofie showing and cut more - she has been feverish and crabby and I think thats because she is teething. Gave her some panado syrup and it seems to help.

OMW, this little girl is like a bullet, crawling about EVERYWHERE! She even gets under her highchair, into corners under chairs and tables and of course everything she finds goes into her mouth. She nows says mama, dada, herba, , bye bye, baba and her new one ka

she is lifting herself up into a standing position and cruising whilst holding onto chairs, cot, sofas, people's legs.

solids are going very well, she now eats most foods. Not mashing as much as i used to as she likes texture. Just cooking her food very soft and cutting into small pieces. Her favourite snacks are the rice rusks, bananas, paw paws, laughing cow cheese wedges, breadstick or finger of toast dipped into peanut butter, full fat sugar free yoghurt and cottage cheese. She likes quite a few things! So far the only think she has turned her nose up at has been spinach, but going to try giving it to her with a cheese sauce. I use herbs to flavour her food, but dont use any salt.

BTW, my little on stills doesnt sleep througn the night, still getting up onnce or twice during the night

So sorry about all the sick babies, but i guess it is that time of the year. Hope they all get better soon!
