M2M - keeping little Liam in my prayers - let us know what the specialist says. Hope that Jadon is doing ok as well.

We can finally take Emily out at night without any problem now. Last Friday night we went to a friends house who also has a 3mnth old daughter. She fell asleep there quite easily on her own and woke up when we transferred her to her car seat, but no crying, just kept staring at us and eventually fell asleep again before we got home. when we got here, I just put her straight into her cot and she carried on sleeping without a peep. Last night DH and I went out for dinner, I just put her in her pram when they brought out our salad and covered her face with a blanket and pushed the pram back and forth and after 5 minutes she was fast asleep (in the noise), and then when we got home, straight back into her cot and she slept until 6:30AM this morning, drank her bottle and went straight back to sleep again until 9:15AM!! Just wish I could have also gone back to sleep as well, but after the feed, I was wide awake

What are you ladies planning for new years eve? Im not sure if I should take her out (friends having a pool party), or if we should just stay home and have a quiet night in.

Kaylee isnt so good with too many ppl. Think all the faces bug her. Today for the first time she smiled back at herself in the mirror of her play gym.

Today K was trying to roll onto her tummy. She tries so hard. Gets onto her side, and almost almost her tummy and then gives up.
And she fell asleep on her play gym today, so cute. She was so tired she just fell asleep on her own. It's much easier now the last week or so I wrap her in her receiver, put her in her cot, lie on the bed and within 5 minutes or so she falls asleep on her own. Doesnt work every time but at least twice a day its worked provided shes been awake for 2hours. But in this heat she's not staying asleep very long as we still have to wrap her or she wakes herself up even with aircons. So she wakes up rather irritable.

Re feeding - shes taking the left breast again most times. But re offering her the 2nd breast after a feed, every time I do so she gags so instead I am just feeding her more often. She has slight reflux so when she gags then I just stop cos I cant risk her throwing everything up again.

We still cant do the nights out with her. We just got home and DH just got her to bed now. We had to leave cos she just wasnt falling asleep.

I had a very quick glass of wine tonight with desert - had to almost down it as we had to get home. Shew its made me quite tipsy. Who would've thought such a small glass could do that! I used to manage at least 2 without a problem!

Girls please keep Mommy2Monster in your prayers. Little Liam's lungs still giving issues. (Hope you dont mind me posting here) and Paed wants him to see a specialist now. My friend we've been through so much and you support me every single day through my battles. So please know that I'm praying for you!

This time last year i suspected i was but was looking for some confirmation... so i kept saying i am due on the 15th if it hasn't come ill get a test... lol

Kaelyn gets bored like that too... drives me moggy... her absolute favourite is visiting people... i go to my office or my moms office and everyone plays with her a bit... and as for the tummy time i gave up a while ago i used to put her like that just before feeds if she was happy, but as soon as she realised she could roll back over it ended... i am not going to hold her on her tummy... but she sometimes rolls to her tummy for a little playtime on her own.

Not sure about the hands yet... both seem amazingly strong... grabs clothes when i hold her or holds my chain if she can get it... loves the chain... lol



I am good, but will need sumone to let me know which day and where if we decide after tomorrow as driving down on saturday and have no internet there....

I read the updates but dont have energy to type.

M2M shame this is going to be a tough time for you. Hope you manage to keep L from getting it but still not lekker for little J. He does keep you on your toes!

K was weighing 5.2KG on Monday. I'm not overly worried as they meant to double their weight by 6 months which would be 5.6kgs and shes only 400grams away and 2 months away from 6months. I just have to accept that I have a beautiful small girl!

I am finding it very hard to keep her entertained for 2hours at a time! She seems to get bored of the same thing for long but even with all the toys and gadgets we've bought theres not enough variety.
She's playing on her play mat now and impressing me to no end!
I put her down one way, shes completely turned herself to face another direction.
She's easily going from her back to her side and I'm pretty sure its any day now she'll go from her back to her tummy too.
She still doesnt like tummy time though. I tend to put her on her tummy shortly after waking up when she is somewhat happy. But if I keep her there longer than 2 or 3 minutes she becomes unhappy and seems to stay that way for the duration of her awake time which isnt cool.
She also wants to put EVERYTHING in her mouth. So if she cant pull the playgym toys down to her mouth she starts crying.

Have you girls found any dominance in one hand?
K seems to do things better with her left hand.
mo mom and brother are left handed as is my dads sister and cousin. But both DH and I are right handed. I think its cos her favourite turtle that was her first toy she grabbed sits on the left of the bouncy chair mobile.

So re Cape Town visit - not sure M2M would want it at her place with a sick child. So does anyone else want to volunteer? My lounge is half the size of hers. And who is keen for 15th or 16th?

Kaelyn's a little younger but only 6kgs... or already six... still fits in her 0-3 month clothes at three and a half months... so cant be too big

Mommy2Monster - hope Jadon gets bettter soon and that Little Liam doesn't get it. As for the weight, that is nice and big Emily weighs 6.7KG's now.
