Oh my word - so many preggy fairies!!! Lovely
We had a few rough days, but it seems as if that is thankfully behind us now!! Em has an Ear, nose, throat infection

poor baba. We had her at the ER on Sunday and doctor sent us home with panado, he said that the only thing he could see was a slightly red throat

took her to the paed the next day and according to him, the ear was already pretty bad

So she is on her first ever course of antibiotics and a strong antihestamine which knocks her out cold! But, she is back to her happy self again - so glad.
Paed is concerned about her weight - she is dropping below her growth curve now. She is 10.30KG's, but above the 95th centile for height! So, because she is so tall, she is expected to at least have reached the 50th centile for weight, but she is slightly below the 25th centile for weight, so he wants to keep an eye on that. Other than that, he is happy with her development and very impressed with her vocab - she was chatting up a storm in the consulting room - funny girl
Joybaby - I know exactly what you mean about the littlies driving us nuts if we stay home with them all day!! I really do not know how my mother does it. I get seriously depressed on the weekends that Braam works because Em gets so clingy and naggy when the 2 of us are alone

You should take her to Em for a playdate one day in the week while you are still home!! Em would love that - just tell me when and I can leave work early and meet you there! I also have those shooshoos and clothes for your friend, so we must make a plan to meet up.
As for weight and eating habits -

I am seriously demotivated - I try to eat better, but the weight is staying still. I don't really have time to gym now because of my studies, so the most exercise I get is taking Em for a walk at night. I used to gym at work, but it is such a shlep with having to re-do make-up and hair and then it becomes 2 hours away from my desk and I already come in late, leave early and put in 2 hours of study time at work, so REALLY cannot take more advantage than that!! When I get home, I really need to spend time with Em and then once she goes to bed, I have to study - so no time for anything else.
As for Em's eating - we bulk cook and freeze her lunches. Usually stews or pasta's, this week we also tried home-made fishcakes. At supper time, she eats what we eat.
Feeling all down today because it feels like I am not making the progress that I wanted to and I am looking back at last year and just so angry at myself because it feels like I accomplished nothing

didn't really progress at work like I could have if I put more effort in, didn't progress in the quest to get my "sexy" back and didn't progress on the house purchase either. So all in all, I feel like it was a year wasted

Oh well, that's just my rant for the day........
