JoyBaby - thankfully no pains. just nausea & dizzy spells
On Mon I had it bad - got home (had 2 packets in the car just in case!) and went straight to bed - asleep by 18h30!!!
Then yesterday I felt great, and today it's back again! (unfort I have no DH to help with D or dogs etc!)
And trying not to let on for anyone, so pretending all is well

Shame Robyn, thats sound like a hectic morning. I hope the rest of the day goes well.

Joybaby good luck with tomorrow, so glad you are getting the potty training right Fayaz is still fighting it, he thinks its a car. He does indicate thats he is peeing though.

Ugh, what a cr@p start to my day
First, DH has to go to Jhb, so our alarms are set at 05h30
I normally get up at 06h00, but since I have to take D to MIL, I'm getting up at 05h30 as well
At 05h00 D decides to wake up, so an extra early start for me
DH goes off to the airport at 05h45 and I take D to MIL at 06h30, to get to MIL by 07h00, to get to work by 08h00
Of course the traffic is so bad that at 08h00, I'm still 20mins away
And then, a 20year old varsity student drives into the back of my car!
All I can say is Thank God Dakota was not in the car!!!
I mean, we're all sitting bumper to bumper - WTF?
Now we've got to pull over, check the damage (nothing too serious, but still a cracked rear bumper)
So I'm even later - now I must still find time to go to the police station to report it etc etc
Urggh
And when I rush into work, my boss phones me to say he's only coming in this afternoon, so I could
have come in abit later, slept in a bit, missed the traffic and missed the idiot driving his mommy's car!!
Urggh
Plus I'm feeling so faint headed again today which is just making things worse!!!

How was everyone's valentines day? We had fun with the kiddies picnic - they loved it Em ate sooooo much sweets and chocolates but she slept through the night, so no sugar rush!

Her dad bought her the cutest little Minnie Mouse as a valentines day gift - soo sweet. I got a bunch of flowers and a voucher for a massage. WE bought him a bottle of cognac and a set of cognac glasses - he loves his gift We weren't going to get each other anything, but then we both got home with something

Kerry - good call on rather getting checked out first then, gives you peace of mind.

We are busy househunting again, hopefully this time we find something before I give up again

Oh just an extra question... my preggy friend is battling with constipation, did any of you ladies battle and if so, what helped? or is there anything she can take?

Wow Girly - congrats on the potty... k keeps fetching me and taking me to her potty... trouble is whan she does it she has already done her business but we will get there... at least she understands what its for... thats half the battle won huh?

About the PAP... probably TMI for this forum, but what the heck... skip the next paragraph if it bugs you...

When we wanted to start trying for K i went for my first ever gynea appointment and they found abnormal cells on my cervix... so i had to have them removed and wait three months for my cervix to heal before getting preg. i was told to go for an annual checkup just in case the problem ccame back. Had another pap then at my six week checkup and it was clear and then was supposed to go back a year after that, but didn't...

Anyway just a slight case of rather safe than sorry i guess. I am sure everything is fine, but just want that security i suppose. Funny thing is my gynea said i would battle to get preg because of the op and because i was on eltroxin and ... and we managed it on the first try. She then said i would have to have a cervical circlage as my cervix was very short... and i didn't need it... I then changed gyneas because that one only did volintary c sections and it was plain sailing for the new gynea...

But anyways the best reason i suppose is because this gynea said that we must go to her before we start TTC so that she can help us get a boy... we will have to see what thats all about too

The no maternity pay is a real pain, but if you believe you'll be able to save up for that with your extra money then it may be worth it. I know I wouldnt be able to though!

Kerry why do you want to wait to have ur pap before ttc? I didnt have one last time, thought doc would do it afterwards but then he said he'll do it once K was born. This time round I'm also due for a pap. In fact had an appointment booked for tomorrow but will have to cancel it first thing as I made it before K's surgery date was finalised. But I'm not doing it ahead of ttc.

I made my first chocolate cake today! Got a recipe online. The one where you use 1/2 cup oil. I had a slice and thought it quite tasty. The icing could've been nicer but ran out of butter. Doesnt look very good but hoping hubby will like it.

AF is due on Saturday sometime but tested this morning and BFN. Dont feel very positive about it though.
I have an interview tomorrow AM, and got a call back from that fruit trading company this morning to meet with the Group HR manager and branch company MD. Interview is for next week Tuesday at 3pm. Both are 'ideal jobs'. One is closer but pays less, one is further but pays more. Both would be doing the same thing.
Would be so cool!

Gotta go. Made burgers for supper and they're about done!
