no come now... seriously!!!! I left home this morning at six as usual, expecting to get to work at 6:30. But it wasn't in the cards, there was a huuuge accident on the highway at 5 and this had resulted in them closing off a section of the highway! So i got to work at 9:45

but sheesh it doesn't end there, with today being the 25th i have vat returns for two of my clients to submit today, which is a simple case of logging on the network printing out the reports and then submiting them through e-filing.

damned if i can log on to the network though... or charming IT department told me over an hour ago that it would just be a few minutes and the network would be back up...

SE GAT!!!


okay... finished moaning now... how are you all today? It seems to have gotten all quiet here, i logged in yesterday or so and saw a tumbleweed or two rollong by! Come back guys... pretty please?

babyzee, so good to hear from you! and so jealous of your december holiday plans... my DH cant get off for DEC as he works in a call centre and got the last two off so he will be working though, !

Its been too long, but i have been reading the posts from time to time. I just never get time to post. Great to see you are doing well and the baba's are growing nicely. I love the age they are at the moment they interract alot and you can actullay see how they are thinking. Fayaz is at a parrot stage repeting everything his sister does. So glad they are 2.5 yrs apart they play well very nicely. I would like to meet when CT ladies meet just let me know when. Last Sat i took the kids to Kirstenbosch they had so much fun there is alot of space for them to run around and the great part is that once they got home it was supper a bath and they were out. I will be going to Kenya on the 17th Dec coming back the 3rd Jan so lets meet before then. Gotta run now sorry no personal i will be back soon.

Long time no chat.

Iz is doing much better, some mornings you can still hear her chest, and she is still on meds. Yesterday she took a nosedive out of Abs' arms, smack bang forehead first onto Woolies' floor!!!!! My swak hart!!!!!!! Rushed to the nearest chemist for the nurse to check it out, fortunately no concussion. Was sooo not lis for another ER visit.

Abs did her ballet exam on thursday and we are still writing school exams. Oh the joy....

I everyone buying potties already?????? Talk bout me being behind! I haven't even given that a first thought. Nevermind buying a potty already.

I'm feeling flu-ish....urgh....we are going on holiday in almost 3 weeks.

Josh's exams went okay, just waiting for the results now, thats the big issue i find with unisa... it tends to feel like youre waiting forever for your results, but it is a much needed break from the studying, i guess its all good.

Kaelyn is okay... she has an ear infection again and bronchitus... they have her on a penicilin antibiotic, some illiadin drops and a probiotic, so not too bad. shes got her appetite back in a huge way so i guess she must be feeling better, but she is still a bit clingy and sad. i am sure she will be better soon.

So sorry to hear Evan is sick, but it sounds like he is on the mend, it seems everyone is sick again

Havent bought a potty yet, i don't think K is ready for that just yet, but she does go off quietly and crouch down when she is busy... lol it is too cute!

So not sure if I mentioned before, but my child is FINALLY walking properly! No more crawling for her - yeah!!! She is so chuffed with herself now she has the biggest smile on her face when she walks. I took her to my sisters house on Tuesday night to go and brag and she was such a show off!! I think my sister and her husband were more excited than dh and I! and they have 2 children, so they've seen this twice already.

Emily threw her first real tantrum in Woolworths last night - can you say EMBARASSING!!! She screamed like someone was trying to kill her = why? because I let her walk and when we got to the point where we had to turn into the shop, she wanted to turn into the parking lot instead!!! Jeez, she was UPSET! I eventualy had to give her mini tennis biscuits and she was still sulking all the way through the shop. My mom said I shouldn't have given her the biscuits because I am rewarding bad behaviour but I just figured it's fine to give them something different as a distraction as long as I don't give in to the ACTUAL thing that she is shouting for????? that's my reasoning anyway

I see everyone is buying potty's - hmmm, maybe I should go and get Em 1 as well - I want to get her the bumbo toilet seat and see if she will sit on it. I am really trying not to go the potty route 'cos of the clean up issue.......... maybe I'll get her the toilet seat with the ladder thing??? I have put her straight onto the big toilet seat a few times and she sits for a while, hasn't done anything yet though.

Robyn - that's a pity, maybe next time. THere is a Moomie xmas party on 17 DEcember for CPT Moomies - maybe you can join us there..

I hear you all on the dirt and stains. I try not to get too freaked out. Jeanine you're right at least boys can wear dark colours Evan was given a stunning pair of white shorts but I am too scared to put him in them! Haha, better just do it before he outgrows them. Evan keeps trying to climb on / over everything too! He is way too short to climb on my bed but he tries. He also tries climbing out the bath - almost there!

I went to Toys R Us. It was very tempting to buy those cute potties but I just got him the normal ones - they have winnie the pooh on - yes I get the irony They were R 60 each. I also got Evan a really nice shorts and top set and one for his little cousin for Christmas - each for R 45. I see they are the Edgars ones - maybe just over stock or something? Someone was tasked with the job or scratching out the logo on the labels I also got the 3 kids each a jumbo bottle of bubbles and evan a nemo swimming fish I can never just walk in the store get what I need and leave!

That quadro set is great! I'll keep it in mind when we do the junge gym for Evan.

BabyK how's your mom after her op? Evan is also getting very frustrated and shouts and cries when he isnt getting his message accross. He tried snatching something from me this morning and I had to say no. He has to learn he cannot snatch. It is something that ABSOLUTELY freaks my poor mind.

Kerry, sucks that you're locked out of the systems. But enjoy the chill time while you can How did Josh's exams go?? Sorry K is sick

Evan started with croup on Saturday afternoon Terrible by monday morning - we rushed him to the ER to get nebulized. The dr was doff and prescribed antihystemines (2 different ones) an antibiotic and cortizone. So Tuesday took him to the paed where he told me to throw the AB away and only use the one antihystemine. I knew the AB was a waste because it's a viral infection. Anyway, he slept right through Tuesday night and then last night also did well until he had a coughing fit at 4am - so he ended up puking and being bathed @ 4:30 and would not go back to sleep. He also got devoured by mozzies last night - he and DH look like they have chicken pox! They dont have it though

K is sick too now, yesterday her teacher at creche phoned me at 11 coz she had a fever, so i gave her the go ahead to give her neurofen for it and call me if it didn't work... but it did.

I fetched her and took her home and gave her neurofen again at 7, but k just wouldn't go to bed, eventually after sitting in bed with me she dozed off at 9 and i took her to her crib...

at 12 she woke up screaming, DH who worked till ten last night was still awake came to fetch me to ask if he could give her more meds yet... i took her temp, 38.2, so i though it better to give her a suppository. she still carried on crying for 15 minutes... then threw up all over our bed

after that she slept till 5, woke for a bottle slept again till 8, when she woke up she was missy at 10 DH decided to give her Neurofen...

So at 12:30 he's bringing her through to my office as he needs to go to work and then i have an appointment at the pediatrician at 2.
