Hi ladies
We are having the opposite in Cpt - cold & wet - also very unseasonal!

I looked at the simple 'bowl' potties - but then you need to take the whole thing to clean
(at least with the bigger ones, there is a separate little bowl that you take out to clean
(DH always manages to find something else to do when D needs a nappy change, so I def
want an easier bowl to clean)

PM - so sorry to hear about Iz Hope she gets better soon!

BK'sMOM - thanks, my bday was nice, Dh arranged a surprise lunch with family and friends at a restaurant.

Shame PM, poor little Iz. Hope you get all the results soon and that the symptons miraculously disappear! Are you staying over at the hospital with her or did you go home last night? ((hugs))

I think I might also get one of those ackermans potties if I can find one. The one I have my gran gave me and its in the shape of a mini toilet, I don't think it will be very efficient when the time comes to use it properly. But that time is still far off I think, now John won't sit on it at all, he starts screaming like I'm making him do something he doesn't want to. Shoo wee but he is a little independent guy, he spends half the day screaming and shouting now out of frustration when he doesn't get what he wants or can't figure something out.
His latest is to climb onto the window sill (its not too high off the floor) and hold onto the window bars and then practically climb out the window!

Jozi girls, I'm a bit of a lost cause with the 'meet' - I have a baby shower on the 3rd of December - my sister reminded me on the weekend. Sorry, hopefully I can make the next meet. Shame, my sister's friend is pregnant, she is due in January, a little girl. But the father is not in their lives, he never was and he wants nothing to do with them. Her parents were super angry with her but they are fine now and are going to support her, she is moving in with them at the end of the month. I think the world's real unsung heroes are single parents. It is the hardest job in the world. And there are so many women (and a few men) in our country who do it with no complaints, because they have to. Very admirable.

Cols, thinking of you hun, hope you're not in too much pain and recovering quickly.

I never saw it in the shop (but then again, never looked) - FIL and DH bought it over the weekend - R19.95!!!!!!! At Ackermans.

Very small and basic - but good enought to start with (looked on their website, but couldn't find a pic - If I remember, I'll take one tonight)
