Tis the season of the xmas party - we've already had our head office campus party this week and today is the planning team's braai then Wed is the mgt team dinner and Thurs is the Clothing group's party ....

Oh everyone pls wish me luck - I'm going to speak to my big boss about changing my work hours for next year (instead of 08h30-17h00, I want to work 08h00-15h30 )

Oooh what missy weather up here in Joberg! Don't get me wrong the plants need the rain and the cool down. But man K hates playing inside

Sooo sunday is the 11th, we were going to have a meet, is anyone still interested? My place at 11.

Anyways short work day today as we are allowed to leave early as we have to be at the staff christmass party at 5:30, sooo i better get to work as my clients don't really understand sort work days.

Well, I got told yesterday that plans have changed and I'm not going back to my old job. Great . Kinda not feeling too lekker about it today.

Though I'm taking my girls for our traditional pre-holiday wardrobe make-over shopping spree. Some serious retail therapy should take the edge off...

Toworow is Prizegiving at school, and I gots me a feeling I'm gonna be emotional. It's Abby's last one there. Mom is a bit of a crier.....Abby is standing 10th in her class and Grace 9th. Very proud of them. But then I also got an formal invite from the Principal on which I had to rsvp for tomorow's affair. Only 2 kids got them. Kinda baffled. Anyhoo, DH and I will be there. Waterproof mascara and all.

My heart is very sore for my bestie. They had their 2yr old assessed yesterday for Autism and it's not looking good for PDD. So I'm feeling very guilty complaining about Iz's babbling.

Iz's been sleeping on a 3/4 bed since 4 months, now she climbs on and off whenever she's tired. Or just wants some quiet time drinking her bottle.

Good luck to you all TTCíng. Hope the bfp's come rolling in. We are still undecisive about having another one. Though we not getting rid of any big baby stuff yet....

Pink, K also has verbal diareah... but its soo cute i don't mind it.. she even talks/sings herself to sleep! Sounds like her and grandpa have something really special!

My year end function is on friday night, a ball and buffet... so K's godmom is going to spend the night at our place and look after K while DH and I are out.

I wish i only had 4 days! You must be sooo excited! I have 12 still!

Flowergirl... at least you get to relax a bit while your niece looks after Emily... sounds like a plan... how do you bribe a 12 year old do you think??? LOL Kidding, sounds like you have it planned out well

Cols, firstly GOOD LUCK TTC!!! Will hold fingers and toes for you! Kaelyn's crib is normal bed hight as it sits on a single bed base, but yes i can take the side off and she can easily climb off anything bed height so it is an option for soon. but we want the crib to be a distant memory when no 2 comes along as we are moving her to the further room and keeping the baby room as is for no2.

K also likes to sleep ON her blankets and linnen so i have taken to tucking her in with one and then later just putting another over her. I think she loses it while hugging her bet teddies good night, and having the last game of peekaboo (as mentioned).

BabyK - The pull along wagon at Mr. P is a winner, we went to pick n pay steeldale on the weekend and she was getting a bit niggly in the trolley so i took her off to "play" in the toy isle for a bit and we came across the same wagon so i demonstrated how it worked... at first she wanted to climb in so i let her and pulled her around the shop a bit... then she got out and i showed her how to pull the rope again and then the game was on. While we were standing in the que at the tills she played herself out.

On the cloth nappy issue, just remember, what you save on re-using you loose on washing. But i see your point, K really only uses 3 nappies a day now. She poo's in the morning about 15 minutes after waking up, then a biig wee after her mid-day nap and then a bath and clean nappy before bed. The creche gives her two naps and changes the nappy after each so she uses more nappies there, but the idea isn''t too bad


Flowergirl... K won't drink from a sippycup anymore... it has to be out a real cup. thankfully its only water because it sure can be messy. well she drinks well from a cup, the issue comes when she has had enough she either tips it down her front or throws the cup... lol

ah well, better get back to work, have a good day ladies!

So cute with John and Evan playing peekaboo in their cots - ADORABLE!!


Forgot to say, EMily has cut her molars - 4 out this weekend!!!!! my poor girl. Also, forgot to say, she is down to 1 bottle per day at bedtime!! Rest of the day she shakes her head and says "Nee, Nee" when you try and give it to her. So, I am just giving her milk in her sippy cup after lunch and she drinks that.

I wish we were all in 1 city so we could ALL meet up
