Hi fwendies!

For those who don't know, we are in hospital. Iz had a cough for the past week which she got antibiotics for. Well, saturday night she developed a fever, which kept coming back. We brought her in to casualties early sunday morning. After bloods and xrays we got admitted. Infection count almost 20, broncho pneumonia and dehydrated.

They started her on meds, but our paed was out of town, so we only saw him this morning. He was shocked to see her test results, cause they didn't reflect the child in front of him. Her lungs look very bad, he is testing for TB and all sorts. Her fever also keeps coming back. They took a sputum monster, nappy monster for testing.

My baby girl is so brave and still puts up a happy face.

My poor other girls writing exams and all sorts. I just want to go home!

I also got the potty with the toilet roll holder etc, the Fisher Price one is expensive but yeah

JK where did you see a old fashioned just plastic potty bowl. i never saw one and hence settles for the one Robyn has too

forgot to say that K has been saying "okay" for the last 3 weeks, everything you tell her, is "okay". and she says her name, well almost, "kia" she says and just to get the "ra" out now... almost there... but too cute

K is enjoying playing with the big ball, she throws it to us and we throw back and she tries to catch it and runs after it and its like she is playing her own game....

I think it's since the little boys can't 'aim' yet, so sometimes it will go upwards

DH wanted to get a fancy potty - one that looks like a real toilet. FIL just gave him a dirty look and said a POTTY not a toilet - so he just wants the good old fashioned plastic 'bowl'.
Guess we can always get the fancy 'toilet' for ourselves later on (once I've seen it and established how much additional cleaning it will require - can't see DH cleaning ANY potty )

Jeanine - the one I bought has the little extra pieve in the front (I was wondering what that was for? )
it's the Bruin Fun Learning Potty (R299 at Toys R Us) it's a white bear with a blue seat and rea flush handle & toilet roll holder

Kerry, enjoy you nice relaxing day at work Of course the catching up is going to be a drag. At least you have internet access.
Always nice to get a bit of an off day... I remember we used to LOVE eskom's load-shedding during work hours - till the company bought a generator.
How we hated that generator... (it didn't start automatically, and all of us pretended to be too scared to learn how to use it so... no boss, no generator running)

My FIL also asked me for a potty this week, so we are going to look for one this weekend.
His complaint comment is that Willem has a no 2 EVERY time he just finished eating, so he wants to put him on the potty then...
Apparently I have to make sure I get a 'boy' potty - they have an extra piece of plastic coming up in front...

Kerry - we also having a relaxed day at work, not because of IT issues, but just because we are eating cake and not in the mood for work It's Friday after all!!

As for 11.11.11 - yip, super cool and its my BDAY!! Being spoilt rotten at work and dh has a surprise for me tomorrow, so we'll see. He also took my wedding rings which has not fit me since about 4 months into my pregnancy and had them resized for me!! I am super excited to be wearing them again!!

ummm... lets just leave it at a resounding no of course not....

we have now been blocked from the server until we run a vuris scan on our Pc's... which was done this morning... now IT needs to come check that the PC is clear and then give us back acess rights... so now we wait...

and of course... we cant work without acess to all our files on the server... so havin a real laid back loaf of a day!
