Hi Ladies

I am also back at work from the 1st of October. First day was really hard for me but Zarika adapted from day 1 at the daymother. We are really blessed with her daymother.

Zarika now weighs 6.3kg and we started her on rice cereal on wednesday evening. It was such an experience to see her facial expressions. I was actually a bit sad as it just struct me how quickly they grow up.

We had a tough start after she was born as she was hospitalised twice both on 7 weeks (for gaining too little weight and to monitor her reflux) and then at 9 weeks (for hernia operation in both left and right groin). She still has reflux but I have her on the novalac AR milk and it does help. At the moment she is busy teething and this week has she has been cranky. But hopefully that will pass soon.

I miss her so much during the day when I am at work and I do agree that weekends are the best just because we get to spend extra time with our babies.

Sal - I say go for # 2.

All your babies are too cute. I will post a picture of Zarika real soon.

Ladies, AF has arrived, no warning NOTHING. So it looks like my body is getting back to normal again

Hey Giggles, long time no hear. Glad everything is going well with your little one. Yip it took us 1.5 years to conceive, with a MC in between I think thats why we are so keen to try again soon.DH is more keen than ever before. He loves Shane so much and is so involved in looking after him its great. Yes, I've been on Yasmeen before, in fact I've got some left over. Thinking of starting the pill to kick start my cycle. Will give my body another week or two and then make a plan.

I'm so happy its the weekend. We all get to spend 2 whole days with our LO's

Its good to see this thread alive again. Update from me, I had my miracle baby girl via c-section on the 21st of may.

She is now 5.4kg. I started her on rice cereal and on butternut, sweet potato and carrots. I breastfed exclusively for 4 monnths. She also has eczema from the time she was 4 months. I am still on maternity leave and loving every second of, I'm going back to work on the 15th of november. so not looking forward to that.

With regards to contraceptive I am on yasmeen, not sure if any of u took this before I haven't.

Its great to hear from you ladies. I am logging in from my phone so when I get back to work I will post pics.

PS - Sal hubby and I also thinking of trying for baba no2 soon considering it took us 6 years to conceive A.

Oh I know I had my baby in May but I was due in June so started chatting with u guys on June PF thread.

sal go for it girl a small gap is awsome lea and xen is 19mnths apart and it is soooooooo much fun to see their antics and if hubby is involved not so much work either as they take bigger one over - and no waiting if u want natural then c-sec takes 18mnths to repair so when baba is 11mnths but if another c-sec u can go asap

maureen - we have walking ring and lea walked fine she didnt like it much though but xen likes it now so still getting good use from it

morgs - wow on sitting very cool and girls dont pick up as fast as boys so just ignore our oros men LOL

maureen - good idea putting it off and glad manager has your back - did u ever go back to simone with the fridge and mike?

af period no clue still breastfeeding and had it once after about 4mnths and nothing again since

nappies on special st dischem girls - sleep n play R99 and pampers active R129 for jumbo pck also creams, milks, pap, sunscreen, wipes etc

Morgan - I heard that 10 minutes at a time is fine, anything longer can be seen as bad. Still up in the air about getting one, but will have to make a decision soon.

Sal - my period has been awful. I breastfed, or expressed for 6 weeks then went on to Melodene again. So far my period has been whacked.
* Like once it was perfect and then for two months I had periods for 2 weeks. This month it is late already by 2 weeks, so don't think it will come till next month again.
* Gynae said that it can take up too 8 months for your periods to become normal again. But what is normal, mine was never except when I was on the pill, and now the pill doesn't even help...jikes... Sal we don't have carpets either, so Jamie would love being able to roll around...
