Morning Ladies,
Sal - believe me it gets better. I have been back for over 2 months and in the begining it is bad but you and baby will get used to it. It is a horrible thing to say "get used to it" but what other choice is there really?
So ladies I am in a situation that I don't really know what to do with:
I got a promotion while being on maternity leave. This is something that I was really working hard for and wanted since I started. But the problem is that I am now on equal level as my previous manager and he isn't taking it that well. He talks behind my back to other people, and these people tell me things as they don't really like him that much. He is also making it very difficult for me to do my job. I am going to my new manager this morning to have a word. As I am really unhappy. But my old manager brought this on himself, he never did the work, I did and he got the credit.
I am at a point where I just want to take my things and leave! I really wished that this would work out but I don't think it will. So on the one hand I feel I have to look for a new job but then on the other hand I don't understand why I have to, he is the idiot and the one that feels sorry for himself. But I am the one getting all the stuff done, and then the stuff that he did while I was on maternity leave, that was wrong, comes back to bite me...and all he does is say "well you are the project account now and that is your work". He pushes everything onto me and it feels like I am spinning out of control!
What must I do? I really am struggling here...I need a life-line...
