Eloise - I believe you with family of 6 shopping becomes a job and a mission. You are the new CHUCK. I take my hat off.

On a sad note ladies, my sister lost her baby two days ago. She was 9 weeks pregnant.

Nelria - I am going to hold out. Today seems a bit better, and my new manager seems to know what I am going through and he is being very supportive and nice to me. So I will hold on for now. But come Janaury I will start looking. I would love to work closer to home but to be honest the money is better in Joburg than in Centurion. I really hope for you that your last colds are gone after this. The rain was fantastic last night. Slept like a baby.

Should I be worried that Jamie is not sitting - he is 6 months - I know each child develops on his own time and I know Jamie was premature... He does want to sit up straight, so I prop him up with cushions and he seems happier that way too. What can I do to encourage him to sit?

Sjoe Nelria - your poor babatjies are so ill! Sending some healthy vibes over! Generally my kids are pretty healthy!!

Sorry to say I forget the teat - but it seems she has slowly started drinking so now she drinks 50ml or so of milk for the day (changed the milk to 6-12months which is sweeter) and have started on juice instead of water.
And miss is more interested in our food so I gave her rice, tato and gravy - oooo she loved it!!!!!!

eloise hope that teats work for u girl oh and the hole might be a bit small for their age now but i pierced mine bigger the important thing is to just get the sucking on then worry re flow

maureen - xen was also given the go ahead for meat in fact for EVERYTHING - i spoke to my suster and new research came alight that not only is the 4-6mnth the tastebud exploring stage its also the time the body creates receptor cells and u should introduce everything in this time - even peanut butter, fish, yoghurt etc in small amounts as their bodies receive the food, then store it as "safe" this then stops allergies later as the body would have accepted the food

also milk is protein so if they can digest that then they can digest meat

anyway each to ttheir own research change daily - I am not to fused xen is content eats what i feed and if i skip a meal he just drinks milk one happy kid i tell u worlds apart from lea

sal - sitting??? wow when did he start? xen can sit but only for second and its his fat keeping him balanced more than anything else LOL

we had a night from hell last night xen was hacking away all night and awake from 3 with cough spasms and i cold feel his bug creeping into me so now I am hacking too oh and daddy was sick yesterday obviously ICU ready as only men get so I had to listen to his moans too - Lea seems to be passing over her cold so lets hope with the nice rain last night and the meds this is the LAST colds for my fam this year fxfxfx

Maureen -Im with you on the shopping. And I have a 4 yr old as well - it is sooooo draining. Especially grocery shopping cos you still have to go home and pack away. I shop for a family of 6 so you can imagine it has to be every 10 days a big shop!

Glad you feeling better about your decisions. But take your time finding a new job and make sure its a better environment.

Sal thanks for the pep talk. Jamie slept so much better last night and I didn't get one tantrum. Sal he is so cute.

Eloise - scary at the thought that they eat that much, they are so little. And the worst is he is still a baby...

Welcome back to all the Moomies that went AWOL for a while. It is because these little ones keep us so busy.

Go shopping is like a nightmare for me at the moment. Dreading everytime I go....

Hello Everyone;

I hope u are all doing great!!!! My BIG little Ziyad was born on 02 June 2010.Well he is mommys big boy now!!

He has not taken to the bottle to, just like Kylie and is most happy when I get home and can breastfeed him. I have started him on solids three weeks ago.

Sal,Lucy and Nelria,Your boys are absolute beautiful!!!!

Maureen take it easy,They already know your worth and fight for that raise!!!!!

Actually I have 4 kids and would never have guested they must eat so much!
Kylie also throws a tantrum when I dont give her more food, but up until now I havent actually been doing it cos I dont want her too get even more podgy! Shame maybe I must. I'll go see the nurse soon and do a double check
