Newborn and baby advice

@Bronz and AngelsMom, baba is doing very well, just changed her bathtime to 6pm, she sleeps very well and the cough is gone.

@Adri, thanx for the invite,um in Pretoria East,
unfortunately, my cousin sister is going for her review in hospital so um going with her.

I also have a NoseFrida, best thing ever!! I know the idea behind it grosses some people out but as a mom you get over that very quickly. (It's about R60 at Dischem).

I have to tell you ladies I had my french lesson and today we learnt all the terminology and sentences I would use for a mom in labour.

The teacher was so funny. he is a man and when I asked how to say breastfeeding he kept making actions like he was holding a breast! haha
then when I spoke of 'the time to push' he was showing me actions of a baby being pushed down and being delivered!!

Today is pyjama day for me... I am still in pyjamas... very busy day with Karla...

I wonder if she is going through a growth spurt because she woke me up twice last night, normally she sleeps through, and want to drink every now and then,... I suppose it is a growth spurt!

We bought her a 2nd hand swing... she loves it and it helps me a lot! Now I have a little bit more time for the house and eating!!!

@ Bronz, unfortunately I'm in Durbs:( As for your period the same thing happened to me. My gynae says its normal even if breastfeeding. I suppose thats why people have babies so close together (one of my lecturers at uni had an 11 month gap between babies!)

wow u ladies have big babies! Angel was 2.9kgs at birth. She's now about 5.2kgs @ 9weeks! Dont know if its normal but angel's feed's are all over the place especially this week, she sleeps 15 mins then she wakes up nd wants to feed again. Is it possible she is going thru a grow spurt early? Angel has eczema nd the some of the other moomie mommy's suggested i try physiogel which i got so i am crossing fingers it helps! She also gets a blocked nose so got nose frida @ dischem nd it works like a charm. If u mommy's are struggling with your baba's having blocked noses maybe u can try it!

Well today I am going to the orphanage to do a baby bath demonstration for a preggy mom and dad. Then they get to practise on the other babies!! Shame she is a little nervous as she says they don't even know how to change a nappy!!
