Hi ladies I used to be on pampers thanks to Elamsmom she recruited me back to moomie I am still finding my feet on the website. My baby will be 10mnths on 5th of Feb she is a busy bee crawling with 4 little toothies and busy trying to stand on her own without holding on to a table

Amazing how differently babies grow and reach milestones at their own times. My nunu started crawling and standing and walking whilst holding onto something at like 6-7 months but only has ONE tooth (yep, one, not two like all other babies) which only popped out week before last at 9 months!

Ha ha Pinky, YOUR baby can crawl lekker on the grass. Mine will SIT watching her do it. Actually, maybe watching the other babies crawl will whip her lazy butt into action.

Claudia_B, what a pleasure. Seriously, if we didn't need my little pittance to pay some of the bills I would scale down on work. Where did you find the nanny? Is she any good? I kind of like being at home to exercise my control-freak nature. But in all honesty, the nanny knows a lot more about certain things than I do. Like getting Emily to sleep. She has that experience that makes my nine months look rather puny. And yet she just sighs quietly and does what I tell her to do, even though she KNOWS it's not going to work...

Lol scribblingal, I'm working so little at the moment that I tell everyone that I'm a kept women:) Hopefully now that th new nanny has started I'll be able to take on some more clients once she is properly trained up (I have had childcare issues the last month so have had to scale back a bit in terms of patient load - my competitiors are smiling because I have had to send so many patients away:(

Elamsmom, I wish I was a SAHM. No, let me use a better phrase. I wish I was a kept woman :) . So basically a SAHM without the work but loads of perks. I usually work Tuesdays to Saturdays but every few weeks we have a Monday to Friday shift. So usually I'm off on Mondays.

Bronz, 11's fine with me. The Secret Garden's in Fourways. I haven't been, but apparently it's quite nice. Check it out at www.dining-out.co.za/member_details-MemberID-2298.html. And let's hope Monday's sunny...
