Oh no Bronz. Was really looking forward to seeing you again. We could have made it somewhere closer to you. Pinky and Jacadebra, if you check in before you leave, I sent you my phone number via Facebook, just so we can contact each other once we're there or whatever.

Looks like I wont be able to make it tomorrow.
To be honest for me it just doesn't make sense to drive out for a quick lunch or coffee. It would be take me an hour there and an hour back.
:( I dont think I can handle G in the car for that long by myself and I would be nervous never having driven it alone.

Maybe we should look at doing a family do on a Saturday and then all can make it?

To the ladies meeting tomorrow - I'll be about 15ish minutes late. Going to fetch my son a bit early at his playgroup first (their teacher said they could finish at 11 as it is their first "structured" morning). At least this way I'll be able to stay a bit later though, yay.

Whoever gets there first, perhaps try to get a table where there is quite a bit of shade - this african sun is hungry lol

See you ladies tomorrow :-)

lol Scribbling
Well, then I won't feel bad if I'm there a short bit, like I said a short meet is better than not meeting anybody :-)
Yay for Emily putting the balls in the hole! Lia is starting to unpack things and enjoying repacking them again which is too cute. The ball toy sounds perfect for this age :-)

Elamsmom - I think most kids this age prefer the remote or a cellphone to their real toys lol. Or the designer designer decor/ magazines etc *cringe*
If I need a few minutes while I cook I open the tupperware cupboard and Lia unpacks it and plays with the tuppeware. She loves it. Kitchen looks chaotic thereafter but yeah :-) - keeps her busy longer than a single toy would.

Kanyo - so sorry you missed the first steps. Seems like you may have the first walker in out thread - yay. When my son took a few steps - a week later he was walking ALL over the place!!! Prepare yourself :-).
I didn't do purees or purity - Lia eats chunks of soft cooked veggies and pretty much everything we do (without sugar and salt). She LOVES her food :-).

Adri -Kara is devine! Such a cutie. Is she also taking some steps alone? If I remember correctly she was an early crawler so she may walk early too? Good luck with those last exams! You're so close to finishing, hang in there!

Claudia - congrats on James getting along with the puzzle - after your post I pulled out a puzzle for the first time in a while - and lia loves pulling them out but then she tries to THROW them back in place. She is so heavy handed! I guess comes with the territory having a big brother lol. Sounds like James is doing great with the food. Once they *click* and totally get the food idea with BLW - there is no turning back! :-)
As for the breastfeeding - I couldn't help but visualize the bum in the air thing. Too funny.

Lia's balance is really getting good. A few times I almost trick her and let go her hands and she stands by herself for a few seconds - but as soon as she sees what I've done - she sits down lol. She just sees no point in standing by herself when she can hold onto my hand or whatever else.

You must all have a LOVELY weekend!
Look forward to meeting some of you on Monday :-)

Heh heh Jacadebra, I've just been told that I have to work on Monday, so I'm going to try wrangle the times that the stories drop, so that I can go for at least an hour. I have no idea how long it will take to get to the Secret Garden, maybe 30 mins from Clearwater Mall? Anyhoo, maybe I'll resort to bringing the laptop along.

Hi Ladies,
No time to reply now, will catch up later.

Just wanted to find out if anybody would be able to do the Monday meetup 30 min's earlier? The reason I ask is because my son just started playgroup 2 mornings a week - and he is going next monday (I thought it would be Tuesdays). I will need to fetch him at 12 so if we arrive at 11 - I will have to leave 11h40 to make sure I'm on time to fetch him. What time do you guys think you will be there until - I guess I could come back after if you will be there a while? If not I guess a 40minute visit is better than nothing lol, at least I will get to meet some of you :-). If you guys don't get to reply - don't worry, will see you all at 11 as originally planned.

Will catch up with the rest of you later, have a lot to say (as usual LOL).

Take care
xx
