Hello Ladies!
I spoke too soon yesterday.. don't know if it was overstimulation from the doc's and being all over but Lia was screaming last night. Made me so heartsore. BUT.. when she fell alseep she gave me an almost 4 hour stretch of sleep - YIPEEE.. sure beats the feeding 2hourly she did two days before. After that she only fed 3.5 hours later so that is my most impressive night of sleep with Lia to date. Yay. I remember with my son is sleep settled a bit by 3 months (and then flew straight out the window by 4 but I'll disregard that LOL).. so I think maybe by 3 months or so Lia will also be doing nice super-long stretches... only time will tell.
Glad you found the culprit Beansmom!! I'm a vegetarian and eat lots of gas inducing stuff so my child gets toxic milk from me lol.. no wonder she gets gas so often *cringe*.
I can't believe you have to wake Tayla up every 4 hours.. damn.. even when we got out of hospital I never had to wake Lia up.. my babies are just piggies.. hungry, hungry, hungry *snickers*
It's so nice to hear that some of you are getting good sleep. Amazing how different all our babies are, and their feeding/sleep patters. I'm particularly impressed that some of the breastfeeding mommies are getting the best sleep - that's one of the reasons lots of moms turn to formula - to try make their babies sleep better (god knows I was tempted with my son lol). You ladies are a good advert for breastfeed - some breastfed babies do sleep!! (just not mine

)
Ok, so I skipped the 6 week gyn appointment. I came back from grocery shopping and was not in the mood. Frankly I know everything is back to normal so I couldn't be bothered. Based on that comment though hubby had better be getting nookie soon because I was previously "waiting for my 6 week appointment" aka not in the mood lol.
Ok guys, picture crazy mom with a trolley and a pram at the same time walking through the grocery store and then bundling everything into the public restrooms so her 2 year old can wee wee on the toilet because he is busy toilet training. It was an impressive sight. Gosh, I am seriously coping a lot better than I did with my 1st, touch wood, though I do have my days. It's quite amazing seeing I never actually wanted kids until I turned 29.
Hope you all have a fab day! Lia has been very SLEEPY this morning so I hope she has a more wakeful afternoon and not evening!
How long are your babies awake each day??
PS: does anybody else have serious raccoon eyes from sleep deprivation?? I may feel ok but I look a bit run down.
