0Misty you must be so excited now. How was lunch and pedi? I think its normal to be anxious towards the last few days. I remember DH thinking every little pain was it and we had to rush to hospital. Good luck with the last few days of waiting.

Betty hope you find something interesting in the light shop. Send us a pic of it.

Afm I'm enjoying my little bundle. Someone asked if babies should be woken to feed. I was told by the nurses to wake her if she been sleeping for four hours. So I feed her more or less every four hours. Night and day. It was a little sore the first few days and I'd advise anyone to use Lansinoh nipple cream. Works wonders for me. Ok so the feeds are more or less settling. My stitches are healing too. They sometimes pull when I turn in bed. But the pain in between my leggs is still there. I'm hoping it eases with time as ligaments settle. She already knows me and looks for me when she hears my voice. What nappies are you guys using or used for first month. I'm using the huggies new born. they Not bad.
So yesterday was one week. I gave her her 3 o clock feed and went to the nearby mall. Truworths has a sale. Thought I'd get something that fits.
I really missed my bundle when I was at the mall.lucky was only gone one hour. lost ten kgs but my tummy still pretty big. Hope it goes down in time. Its a nice rainy day and soooo good to cuddle. Oh man wat an experience.

AFM - went looking for a light for LG room today, but was unsuccessful, oh well, will go and look elsewhere tomorrow.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is the best day of my entire life and I have never been happier!!!!

I'm not sure who is more in love with him, DH or me or my mother, father or sisters!

Our son is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly healthy too! He didn't even have to spend any time in an incubator and has been in our room with us all day.

The c sec went very well and I can definitely recommend it! Doing the spinal wasn't sore at all, the staff were all extremely efficient and competent and all in all it took just half an hour from start to end, with the actual cutting taking onl 5 minutes. What bliss! I had some pain later, but have been getting injections, etc. so am quite comfortable.

This really has been the best experience of my life and I feel absolutely blessed and ecstatically happy!!!

Betty, I also kept on waking R up after 3hr naps.. also thought it will help distinguish between day and night. Now I keep the room dark after bathtime so he knows the switch. Hope it all works

Mistymom, it was me who posted about the calpol. I also saw from 3months. But clinic sister said to give him only 1ml at a time. So I guess its ok? Remember I also gave it to my oldest boy at 8wks.

Claire, thats so great So only a week and a day left!!

Weve had a better day today. R did a great nap this morning, then fed, little bit of chilltime and then fed again and then did a 3hr nap! Now I only need to figure out what I did right?

Also I phoned the clinic sister and she says it can only be normal for him not to poo while being b/fed. She says def no longer side effects of the oral drops. So Ive decided to not give him nan again until Im sure he is sorted out (so I agree with Meags) and also will wait it out to not give him another supp for a few days. Lets see what happens.. maybe he isnt constipated after all and just a windy baby

Claire, glad you are calm and remember that the decision was made with LB's wellbeing in mind. Can't wait for the pics!
