I will post full details a little bit later but just wanted you all to know that Danika was born on 8 April via C-section. She weighed 2.76kg and 50cm. We are so greatfull and blessed and I cant stopped smiling!

Congrats to all the new mommies out there! I will catch up sometime soon and will post pics of our Danika as well. Good luck with all the babies still on the way!

Meags, shame man love, I agree with Betty, go to your room, shut the door and try there, away from your mom. Tell her sorry but you need to be able to do this without distractions of any kind. Good luck with the tounge snip today. I was also told never to wake a sleeping baby. Even when Kate was in ICU they would call me to come feed when she woke up.

Betty thanks for letting me know where to geet the washing jug. Sorry about the sore legs, hope it gets better. Not long now for you to go!

Kimika good idea about putting him on your back. Will really help I think.

Misty, I work from home and my own hours, so I'm still looking after Kate. If it gets too much then I'll get someone to come in for 2 or so hours a day to watch her. Em's birthday is in August. I always plan my parties in advance. Its perfectly normal for DH to stress as it gets closer - but also tell him that if the pain does get too much for you, there are wonderful pain meds they can give.
I agree its irritating about people asking for news - as if you wouldn't tell them if there was. Thats why for us I got my doula to update people and told my family not to call me at all.


Well this morning I managed to get Em ready for school, and take her without DH (decided to let him sleep in as its his last day of leave) Was actually fairly easy, thankfully Kate is happy in her swing while I get myself ready.

I'm just about ready to go to theatre. Just spoke to the anaethetist. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO excited!

DH is here with all the cameras and have taken some "before pics", so we're ready to go. He has been instructed to take lots of pics and I will MMS one ASAP.

It's hard to believe this day has finally come! Think I have to pinch myself!!
