Cath - Thanks! let me know what dischem say. I remember the Sanofi rep coming to talk to us at antenatal with my LG. she was saying that the private vacs are less likely to cause any side affects.
There were some other very valid reasons why I chose private, just dont ask me now though

I wonder if the Infanrix ans Synflorix is state - cos on my LGs card it says Pentaxim?!?

Just a selfish AFM post today. Had my almost 37 week appointment at the gynae. LG's head totally engaged and amniotic fluid much less than last week. So she says that this one is almost here and if she has not arrived by Tuesday, we are going the induction route on Wednesday (20th). So I will be doing everything to help things happen naturally in the next week. Meags, I will have a look at your list of natural induction strategies again .

Must say, I could feel things are different from a week back when she wasn't engaged yet. I feel loads of pressure down under. I even get the socalled "bowling ball between legs" feeling. So I'm getting excited now.

How on earth do I find out I'll probably end up wasting alot of money doing it at the paed next monday cause it's the 'easiest' route - what on earth are the other routes! Ugh just makes me tired thining about it! MY card also confusing - I do know she has suggested giving me (her consult is like R350 and it's not even a paed just a doc at the paed but like I said it's convenient) the 2 combined ones at 8 weeks - that's infanrix hexa and synflorix. I really must not be lazy and try phone dischem and see if they do them - also my paed is in bryanston which is miles away so i'm not keen on being with w in the car for like possibly 45 mins?! after a jab - dischem is 5 mins away. Ok goign to phone them now and find out a bit. will let you kjnow - I do know those 2 big combined ones I mention above are definitely at 8 weeks well so she said.

Kimika - how is it going tying to lengthen the time btw feeds? I wish amelia would just sleep a little longer at night. shew im tired!

I take Amelia to a private perinatal clinic. She gives you the option of private or state. Only charges R90 for the hour long consult.
but im going private vaccs again like i did with my LG.
Just really confused as to when i must actually start them!!

oh yes and Ive also been told not to give any calpol before vacs as it weakens the immunity. (or something like that)
aloe cream is also excellent for the little needle prick hole.

hey schatise, I also found that during pregnancy BD stands for baby dance I think I think it came about on the TTC type threads (trying to conceive) not something I'll be doing (the conceive part!) for a while still LOL!
