Amy please go to your labour ward. I dont know what it is but if you are in such severe pain then you should rather have them check baby.
Low and hard tummy with period like cramps could be the start of labour.
I'm looking forward to reading your successful birth story that you are finally holding your bundle of joy in your arms.

Hey friends sorry to go missing on you. I am in love. She is so beautiful. Will get dh to help me post pic later. I didn,t react well to morphine and I battled yesterday. Also I seem to be a bleeder have drains etc so have not been allowed to move. My precious angel latched in recovery! She is 3,255 kg and 53 cm

Can someone please tell me if its normal to have severe pain in your navel area.I can't walk properly because of the pain.I can't lie down on my side cos the weight of my tummy pulls the navel causing severe ache.I can't cough either.my navel is popped out and my tummy is hard and low.I'm close to tears.has anyone experienced this.my navel is so sensitive even if my clothes brush it it hurts.Hi ladies.

The baby is moving so much its painful and I'm getting cramps. What is going on.

Meags - hope all going well...thank you fro the birth story..what a lovely read. Hopefully next time you post Matthieu is at your bedside! Sounds like Mael did a great job in labour, Just hope my DH puts up with all my nonsense when i am in that position!

Joli - saw your pic in the your pregnancy! ALways get excited when i see you in a mag! Ran to show DH that i know a celebrity! I have awlays loved that pic of you!

AFM - just done my birth plan, repacked hopistal bags and made a list of the last few things I need to buy (thankfully short and not an expensive one!). I know that I am only 36 weeks and have 4 to go but i recon if i keep telling myslef baby will coem at 38/39 weeks it may just happen!!

Wow scahtsie - only 10kg weight gain! I iwll probably still put that on in my last 4 weeks knowing my luck!

DH is away Mon-Wed next week and wants my mom to come stay with me! I told him I will be fine...I am looking froward to a few days peace. Also my feet have de-swelled a bit!!!! YAY. I have also this week become addicted to frutania ?(that slush puppy stuff). Thankfully there is a machine at our local PnP and petrol station (and they only R7 compared to when i was craving Vitimin water at R14!). Think it is the ice that i like...strange as now that it is cooler in CT i am craving the icey dinks!

How is the bruising on vjay? I have never heard of those pads, must be something- hope they give you some relief..

Went to see my mom today after I was so angry with her a few weeks ago.... Well she acted like nothing happened and so did I...

I have been having those leg cramps just about every night now. Someone mentioned something I could take for it? Please can you let me know again...

Hi all, hope are all well. I missed a lot this week, but will try to catch up.

I logged in earlier, but just as I wanted to post, my internet lost connectivity.

Just quickly want to say that dr said there is still plenty of amniotic fluid, L is still very active and healthy. Dr is still happy, so we are still waiting, but I am in no hurry, I really am enjoying L in my tummy still and every day is now more precious than the previous day.

Just wanted to congratulate my friends Meemo & Lucy on the birth of their beautiful girls today!

Meags hope you are holding up. Your baby is in good hands. I know what its like for a sister to tell you not to touch your baby its heart breaking. Maybe with the change in shift the next on duty sister will be more accommodating.
