AFM: Trip to paed went well. She is very happy with him, all looks great. Her scale weighed him in at 4.2 but I know her's is over with about 200 - 300grams. She prescribed drops for his crusty eyes and said the little pimples he has is due to a bit of heatrash and blocked pores He also grew another 1cm in lenght for the week! So Im a happy mommy. And then the cuteste thing.. he smiled at me yesterday morning!!! A gorgeous broad smile (def not wind!) hehe.. and then he did it again. So I phoned hubby and went crazy with excitement.. and he did it a third time Soo cute.. will try get it on video tomorrow morning.

Meags, so sorry I missed all your action... dammit this internet got me bad I was waiting sooo long for all your birthing action and now I missed it.. boohoo!! But little Matt is gorgeous and you did sooo well!!! Hope he gets to go home with you soon!! His weight is great for natural How is Matt doing now? Uhm ja your poor "girl" will be sore.. you just pushed a baby outa there Just keep using those icepacks and it should be better in a day or so. I also used them. Mistymom, shoo so you will also be having a big baba I agree to do the vaginal swab a bit later on, thats why they say to do it at about 37wks. But there needs to be enough time for the antibiotics to work if you need to take them. With my fist I only had internal at 38wks and this time had at 36wks because I said to her I suspect something is up. I think routinely its only done at about 38wks unless there is reason to do one earlier.

Joli, LOL .. I cant believe you made your daughters Milo with breastmilk How funny!! Did she not ask why its so sweet? I remember they called you back about the payment.. good for complaining.. now we can go back again Reuben has been to shops quite a few times.. he is super good and I just keep his carseat/pram covered with a blanket and him snuggled inside with blakies. He is so well covered that mostly people will only lift the blankie and have a peep inside. And he is strapped in so they cant just pick him up. Its his older brother that is exhausting in the shops!!

Meags - argh I know that its probably for Matt's health but I do understand how much you must be craving holding him Keep up with the pumping and hope the girls feel better soon. I think you are exceptionally brave for having done it with no drugs in a country you have recently moved to! All I can do is send you virtual hugs and support. Did you ever get a feme pad from Carriwell for the bruising and swelling down there, maybe DH can find something for you that side to alleviate some discomfort?
